“Dillan McMillan Please Eat Your Peas” is an interesting Children’s book written by the author David Schneider and illustrated by Jeff Shelly. The main character of the story is a young boy named Dillian McMillan who refuses to eat his peas. His family members, neighbors, friends, others, etc tried to convince him to eat his peas but Dillian is not listening to anyone.

It was fun to see even the President offer him a medal if he eats his peas. I could relate to Dillian’s character very well as I am a picky eater too. I do eat peas but not all the green vegetables. The pretty illustrations would catch kids’ attention on the first look. The cover photo of the book is well designed. There is a QR code inside the front cover. Readers can scan this to enjoy the audio of the story.

This book helped me in learning a few new words. Kids can enhance their vocabulary by reading this book. Kids would enjoy reading this book more if they read it with their siblings. I had a great time reading this story. Great work done by the author. A must read book for kids.

I love reading Children’s books. Recently I got my hands on the book “A Penny Saved” by authors – Cynthia L. Simmons and Terri Gillespie. Mason Adeleke moved to Marietta, Georgia from Philadelphia along with his family. Since his dad went overseas to Germany, his mother had cried a lot. Now, they have moved with their maternal grandfather for a few months.

Mason’s grandfather is a retired professor who spends a lot of time in his office. In his absence, an old coin Penny sneaks out and looks for cookies or chocolate. She loves this adventure alone in the absence of a professor. When grandfather was talking to Mason and his family, Penny was eavesdropping. Penny wasn’t happy at all to hear that Mason’s family would be living here for a few months.

Read this book to find out what will happen when Penny goes missing. The story is full of adventure. The characters are well written by the author. The cover photo of the book is well designed.
