I love reading Children’s books to my nephew. Recently I got my hands on Terance Shipman’s book ‘Mr. Shipman’s Kindergarten Chronicles: Grandparents Day’. DeWayne is excited as soon Grandparents Day will be celebrated in his classroom. He asked his sister Bianca how Grandparents day was celebrated when she was in Mr. Shipman’s class.

Grandparents from all over the world made it to Mr. Shipman’s class and kids were happy to meet their grandparents. Sarafina’s grandpa couldn’t come so Mr. Shipman offered her his grandparents for some time. What all activities were done to celebrate the special day?

My nephew loved every bit of this book. The illustrations are pretty and would catch kids’ attention. The author has used lucid language in the book so kids could follow it easily. This day should be celebrated in every class so grandparents could have beautiful memories to cherish for life. Add this book to your children’s bookshelf.
