“Pigs Have Wings” is a children’s book penned by the author Kathleen Welton and illustrated by Chau Pham. The main character of the story is a petite pig named Miz Peg. She has short and round legs.

She has dreams of flying high in the sky. Whenever she starts to jump, she always falls on her rump. People tell her that pigs don’t have wings. However, Miz Peg really wants to dance and sing. Will her dreams come true?

I had a great time reading this book to my little one. The pages of the book are colorful and the illustrations are pretty. I appreciate the storytelling skills of the author. Kids should read this book as it teaches them to dream high and achieve them. Looking forward to reading more books by the author in the near future.

“Harvest Time: A Celebration on an Organic Farm” penned by the author Jeanne Bender is the third installment in the Lindie Lou adventure series. Lindie Lou lives in Seattle with her new owners Bryan and Kate. They are going to attend Cousin Ronda’s harvest party. 

When they arrived in Des Moines, Ronda started to show them around. It was interesting to see Topaz explaining to Lindie Lou about the harvest time. Lindie Lou gets to know about combines, harvest time, organic farm, cornfields, etc.

Read this story to know more about the adventures of Lindie Lou along with Kate and Bryan in Des Moines. The writing style of the author is amazing. The cover photo is eye-catching. Illustrations are pretty. The storytelling skills of the author are nice and I loved every bit of this book. I read this story to my nephew and he is looking forward to reading more books in the series. It would be interesting to have more activity pages at the end of the book. It is an engaging read for little ones.

I am grateful to the author for including Des Moines, Iowa calendar at the end of the book. The fun facts mentioned in the book are interesting. Add this book to your children’s bookshelf.

Haley struggles to find what is unique about her. One of her classmates is bilingual, the other classmate has red hair. Haley is still clueless about what makes her unique. Read this book to find out how Haley will find something unique about her. 

The book is written in a lucid language so more readers can enjoy this book. The cover photo of the book is eye-catching. The writing style of the author is nice. This book inspires kids to celebrate the differences among them. The illustrations are pretty and the pages are colorful. The author should write more such books. Kids would be delighted to read this one for sure.

She met Max at an airport baggage claim and now they have arrived at the Emerald City. Lindie Lou has been living with Joe and Sherry till now. But now, she has new owners and a new home.

Lindie Lou finally met her new mommy Kate who found her cuter than her pictures. Will Lindie Lou meet Max? With white and gray buildings, Lindie Lou wonders why the city is known as Emerald City.

Read this book to find the answer yourself. The character of Lindie Lou is immediately likable. This book tempted me to go on an adventure, especially to Seattle. Kids will have a great time solving quick quizzes and reading the fun facts given at the end of the book. Go ahead with this book without any second thoughts. I strongly recommend this book for little ones.

“Some days the world looks better when it’s upside down: The Wisdom of Wildlife” penned by the author P.A. Minyard is an interesting read. This book is a great reminder to us to slow down in life so we can reflect and marvel at the wonders of nature.

Through this book, the author is inspiring readers by telling them that the courage is within them and everyone is uniquely special. This book made me realize that everyday we may not be able to give our best. Some days things may go sideways but that’s life. 

It’s amazing to see how each animal helps us to see the world in a different way. This is a very creative book. The author has done fantastic work in it. The cover photo is nice and the title is suitable. 

This book is for readers of age up to 12 years. Go ahead with it without any second thoughts.

One day, when Princess Laurel returned to the castle, she couldn’t find Princess Astrid. Prince Falcon and Princess Laurel went towards the dark forest to search for Astrid. Read this book and find out if they will find her. 

The author has written this book in a lucid language. The cover photo is well designed. The pages of the book are colorful and well illustrated. Monique has written a beautiful story that teaches kids not to be jealous of others. Kids would learn to embrace everything about themselves. 

The ending of the story is beautiful and I had a great time reading this book. Monique should write more stories. Looking forward to getting my hands on more books by the author in the near future.

The main character of the story is Nann, a little girl who lives on Covington Pond. Nann always wonders. She dreams and sees farther than her eyes could look.

Nann would explore different places that would inspire her to step out often. A little girl like Nann is a well written character. She would inspire readers to dream high and explore as much as possible.

This book is an amazing read. Adults also would realize that they should take off time from their work so they can explore. The language used in the book is lucid and the cover photo is well designed. Every parent should add this book to their children’s bookshelf. Kids would learn to dream. Go ahead with this book without any second thoughts.

The main character of the story is a little puppy named Lindie Lou. Lindie Lou along with her brothers and sisters were raised by Molly. Joe and Sherry once made their garage as a Puppy Playground for the puppies.

Sherry’s sister Kate has asked for a puppy that looks just like Molly. Lindie Lou is such a puppy but Sherry wants to keep her. However, she also needs to keep her promise to Kate. Read this story to know where Lindie Lou would go.

The adventures of Lindie Lou when she ran out of the door and played with the leaves, when she flew high, etc made the story more enjoyable. Lindie Lou’s character is immediately likable. Get to know about her flying high experience.

The characters are written well by the author. I had a great time reading this book. The illustrations are beautiful and make the story more lively. I appreciate Jeanne’s storytelling skills. The language used in the book is easy to follow. Parents should definitely add this book to their children’s bookshelf. Kids would have a great time doing the fun activities given at the end of the book.

This book is full of positive affirmations that would inspire kids and adults. The positive affirmation “I pledge to try and try again” is very inspiring. It reminds us to give another shot after a failure and not to give up. 

“I pledge to do my best” is another affirmation that motivates us to try our best even in tough times. I am grateful to get my hands on this book. If we read this book for 5 minutes every morning, we would get a dose of positivity.

My nephew has started using this book as a guide to start every day with positivity. The pretty illustrations made this book an attractive read. Go ahead with it without any second thoughts. You would be delighted to read it.
