“Festival Fun” by Eric Clock is the second installment in the ‘Little Go Getter’ series. In this story, Kim and her best friend Amali are thrilled about attending a vibrant Sri Lankan cultural festival. However, they’ve run out of pocket money to enjoy it fully.

To solve the problem, Kim comes up with a creative plan to earn money. She and Amali approach their friend Thomas, hoping his mother can teach them how to sell products at the local farmers market. Thomas’ mother suggests they first experiment with the market to learn the ropes.

The kids dive into action, learning valuable lessons in marketing, brainstorming, and testing their ideas. This engaging story encourages teamwork and introduces young readers to basic entrepreneurial concepts. Children will gain insights into earning money and how businesses operate.

The book sparks curiosity and promotes the idea of kids exploring entrepreneurship early on. Eric Clock has done an excellent job of inspiring young readers to think about business in a fun and approachable way. I only wish I had discovered a book like this during my own childhood!

“Piccolo, It’s Time to Go!: A JP Chinmusic Story about Opportunity and Courage” is a must read story. This is the story of an instrument named Piccolo. He has practiced hard and other instruments have seen that. Piccolo is afraid of giving a solo performance. He asks the flute if it can take his part. Flute told Piccolo that it’s his chance to be successful and he should let other people see him.

Other instruments are so supportive and assure Piccolo that even they feel uneasy when it’s their turn but with practice and taking opportunities, we all grow. Read this story to find out if Piccolo will freeze on the stage or give a great performance.

I loved this book. I could relate to Piccolo as I fear being judged. Like Piccolo, I fear that I would freeze on the stage. This book teaches us to take opportunities when they come. It’s okay to feel nervous but we shouldn’t miss the opportunities.

The writing style of the author is nice. The cover photo is eye-catching. I loved the illustrations. They are pretty and make the story more lively. The author has done great work in this book. Looking forward to reading more books by him.

Reading these stories to my nephews was a delight—they were completely captivated by the adventures. The author has a knack for storytelling that keeps kids engaged. The cover art is appealing, and the title suits the content perfectly. I look forward to reading more from Keith Huggins and recommend this book for children looking for fun, adventurous tales.

“Oscar the Ferry Cat” is an interesting Children’s book penned by the author Molly Arbuthnott. The main character of the story is a Siamese cat Oscar. He lives the life of an ordinary cat. Oscar hated holidays. When he didn’t want to spend the time in the car to travel, he escaped.

Soon, Oscar realized that he was on a ferry. He was lost and wanted to go home. Then, Oscar met Sammy, a seagull and told him that he doesn’t fit in here and wanted to go home. Seagull invited Oscar to have fun together and be a ferry bird but Oscar wasn’t enjoying it. Read this story to know how Oscar would try to have fun with different creatures. Will he be happy away from home?

It is a story that is beautifully told. I appreciate the author’s storytelling skills. The illustrations are pretty and would catch kids’ attention on the first look. This book takes readers on the rollercoaster adventures of finding someone you can call home at a new place. Kids would learn how important friendship is in life. Parents should definitely add this book to their children’s bookshelf.

“Asher’s Christmas Adventure” penned by the author Cindy J. Vanous is an amazing story. The story features the McConniel family. It’s Christmas Eve and the family’s dog Asher wishes to be a part of the family’s tradition. McConniel’s spend Christmas evening at Grandma Helen’s house every year.

This year, the entire family was excited to visit Grandma Helen and Asher was excited too. Unfortunately, Asher was left behind alone by his family. So, he decided to go on adventures in his own neighborhood. What will happen when Asher will be lost?

This is a story full of festival vibes and adventures. I loved Asher’s character and his adventurous spirit. The language used in the book is lucid and kids would be able to follow it easily. The story writing skills of the author are amazing. Kids would be delighted to read this book.

“Leo: The Lion’s Great Adventure” penned by the author Kevin Pierce is an adventurous read. The main character of the story is Leo, a curious and adventurous young lion. Leo’s home is in the jungle but he dreams of exploring the world beyond the jungle.

One day, Leo set off on his journey to explore the world. On the way, he met new and interesting animals. He met Gerry the Giraffe in Savannah. In the city, he met Bella the Cat. However, after exploring the world for some days, Leo started feeling homesick. Read this book to find out what Leo will realize and do after exploring the world for many days.

This is an amazing book that inspires kids to explore yet also tells them about the comfort our home offers. The writing style of the author is smooth and easy to follow. The cover photo is nice and the language used in the book is lucid. The illustrations are pretty and made the book more lively. Kevin’s story writing skills are amazing. I am looking forward to reading more books by him.

The Adventures of Myron and Swimmy: “One for Myron” penned by the author Mario Nacinovich and illustrated by Nadia Ronquillo is an interesting read. The main character of the story is a canyon tree frog named Swimmy. Swimmy loves exploring and learning new things about the world around him.

One day, Swimmy met Myron, a cactus elf. Myron told Swimmy that every day, he finds ostrich eggs that are the largest eggs around. Swimmy joined this adventure with Myron. He started looking for round shaped objects that looked like an egg. Will the two of them be successful in their mission?

This book is for readers of the age group 3-8 years. It teaches kids the power of teamwork and friendship. The language used in the book is lucid and kids would be able to understand it easily. The cover photo is eye-catching and I loved every bit of this book. Great work done by the author in it.

The main character of the story is a young boy named Danny. He was struggling to read and suddenly he remembered that his dad told him we need smart people to solve our problems.

Danny told his Grammy that he is struggling to read. His Grammy came up with a plan to help him. She suggested that he watch a movie with his Gramps and try to read the words in the title. He can use his third eye to visualize the words and use his ears to listen to the sound of each letter.

Read this book to know if Danny will finally learn to read. This book inspires kids to seek help from smart people when they struggle. The title of the book is suitable. The way Danny’s grandparents helped him is amazing. The illustrations made this story more lively.
