Beachdaze written by the author TW Lawless is the sixth installment in the Peter Clancy book series. The protagonist of the story is Peter Clancy, an investigative journalist in London. After surviving a mild heart attack, the doctor gave him an ultimatum to change his lifestyle and get away from the bad influences. Peter was advised to find some serenity in life and live a healthy life.

He moved to a peaceful town of Serenity Bay, Melbourne, Australia. Peter bought a beach house and found out a week later that his neighbours are both nosy and noisy. Soon, Serenity Bay started to feel like Hicksville by the sea. Peter wants to stay low key but the situations and people of Serenity Bay are pulling him in.

This is a gripping story and it kept me on the edge until the last page. The cover photo of the book is nice and the title couldn’t have been better than this. The character of Peter is really interesting. Even though this book is sixth in the series, one could read it as standalone also. Add this book to your tbr. You would have a great time reading it.

The author has shared great information in this book that will help the women to decide if military service is the right choice for them. It’s an insightful practical read that I strongly recommend to my fellow readers. A must read by everyone to know more about military life. I am glad to get my hands on this well written book. The insights from those who have served in the military helped me to know a lot about military life, its pros, challenges, etc.

The Darkest Side of the Moon written by the author M.C. Ryder is the first installment in The Dark Book Series. Nadine Drexel is an interesting character. She wants the high school to be over but she doesn’t have any plans for the future. Nadine’s best friend is Camille. When a new student Vinson Weber joined their class, all the girls were after him including Camille.

Camille found Vinson quite attractive. She thinks that she won’t get a chance with Vinson as so many girls are trying to get his attention. Nadine didn’t give a chance to Vinson at first and thinks that he is rude and arrogant. Nadine has been having bruises on her arms without bumping into anyone.

Nadine’s parents got into an argument. Her father asked for divorce. At work, someone has been stealing blood and Nadine’s father doesn’t have an idea who is behind it and why. Read this story to know what happens next.

Those who enjoy reading Young Adult fantasy stories should get their hands on this one. The plot of the story is interesting and the characters are written well. The story is well paced and you would enjoy it till the last page. Go ahead with this book without any second thoughts.

In his debut book Dope, the author has mentioned that he is the living proof that being stupid is the best thing. Wev who was a drug addict and alcoholic for most of his adult life finds madness, misadventures, trouble, etc wherever he goes.

One of the stupidest things that the author has done was impregnating his wife KT within three weeks of meeting her. Once Wev was asked to leave the hotel as he was smoking weed there. While waiting for his salary, he spent a night on the street with a homeless guy.

“Don’t trouble the trouble. If you trouble the trouble, trouble troubles you.”

The second line from the above quote fits Wev’s life well. Wev is always on the lookout for trouble no matter how much the trouble hides itself from him.

Wev searches for silliness and gets into awkward situations but he loves this awkwardness. Through this book, the author is inspiring readers by telling them about his misadventures. After reading this book, I realized not to be too serious in life and have some fun by getting myself into different situations. A great funny, humorous book that one should read for sure.

“The Fireman’s Homecoming: A Second Chance Romance” written by the author Jennifer Jansen is the first installment in the Firefighters of Ballarat Book series. The main characters of the story are Luke Haines and Evelyn Haines. They live in Australia and have been high school sweethearts who married a few years after graduation.

Luke disappeared from his wife Evelyn’s wife for 12 months. When he returned home after a year, Evelyn was confused and angry but still madly in love with her husband. When Evelyn gave Luke a chance to explain the reason for his disappearance, Luke tried to tell Evelyn that he was broken after the accident and his ego didn’t allow his wife to be there with him.

Read this story to know what will finally happen to Luke and Evelyn’s relationship. The story involves PTSD, Therapy, second chance romance, etc. The storyline is interesting and I couldn’t put this book down once I started reading it. Both Luke and Evelyn’s characters are written well. The story fits my reading taste.

Those who love reading stories involving second chance romance should definitely get their hands on this one.

If you love reading stories involving the zombie apocalypse then quickly get your hands on Wes Mogenson’s latest book “Dead Summer”. It is the first book in the Page Terrors book series.

Sydney, her cousin and friends are excited for a fun trip to the Philadelphia Music Festival. Sydney’s cousin Sean has won these tickets in a contest put on by the radio station. They started their journey from New York and would be reaching Philadelphia later at night if everything goes smoothly.

The four of them didn’t expect that they would lose their mobile signal and the car GPS would stop working. They are in the middle of nowhere. To rest for the night at a safer place, they stayed at a motel in Lucky Fields. Who would have thought in their wildest dreams that the zombie apocalypse is beginning in Lucky Fields?

I found the smooth writing style and steady plot to be engaging. This book is a great choice for readers who enjoy middle grade stories. It’s a must read for anyone looking for an entertaining read. Go ahead with this book. I am sure you will thank me later for the recommendation.

Follow my Shadow is an intriguing story written by the author Josie-Ann Tessier. The main character of the story is Sarah. She has everything that other women dream of: a job she loves, a fiance Gary Claws, who is handsome as well as wealthy. Sarah is an orphan and Gary’s family has made it clear that they don’t like Sarah.

Gary is a kind of person who only does what he sets his mind to. When Sarah went to a small town to cover a news story, she met a man named Patrick Mason who is attractive and Sarah won’t be able to resist around him. Read the story to know will the small town of Perthline change Sarah’s world.

The story is gripping and it kept me on the edge of my seat as I read it. The cover of the book is nice. Sarah’s character is my favorite from the book. The writing style of the author is amazing and the narration is smooth. Go ahead with this book without any second thoughts.

Eldsmoreth is a young elf. His beloved is Rosewene. Her light helps in protecting Eldsmoreth from the evil Morgalene. Merion is the fastest horse in Gilindon. When Morgalene smelled Eldsmoreth and was chasing them, Merion was too fast to run away from her.

If you are looking for an escape from reality then get your hands on this fantasy book. The characters are written well by the author and this story will stay in my mind for a long time. The book is well paced and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. The backdrop setting is detailed and well described. I felt as if I was witnessing everything from my own eyes.

I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

“Hidden in the Shadows” written by the author A.D. Vancise is a thriller. The main character of the story is twenty-three-year old Evie Day. Evie left Woodsville, Arkansas five years earlier and she didn’t want to return to this small town. The death of her grandfather brought Evie back to Woodsville.

While searching for a photo of her grandfather for the funeral, Evie came across a photo of a woman from 1933. In the photo, the woman was standing on the left side of a small coffin of her dead baby. Evie has always been nosy and she is determined to find out who this woman is and why her grandfather has kept her photo among the family photos.

The story is interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat till the last page. The cover photo is nice and the title of the book is suitable. The story is well paced and one couldn’t put this book down once you start reading it. Those who love reading thrillers shouldn’t miss this one. It’s a great story.

“Nonstop Oslo: A Fan’s Fantasy Tale” written by Marie Nadine Gaston is an interesting read. The main character of the story is Vivienne Bernard. She has been a fan of the outstanding vocalist Logan Anders. Vivienne has thought about her trip to Oslo for thirty years. Today, her dream has come true.

Logen Anders is Vivienne’s fantasy love. When she was welcomed to Norway, she felt it would be a life-changing trip. Vivienne lives in Haiti and has done her schooling from Florida. She is really excited to attend the Eureka concert. Vivienne met a few of her Eureka fan page buddies in Oslo. She couldn’t believe how she failed to recognize Logen Anders even though he was on her mind since the time she arrived in Norway.

Logen asked Vivienne and his other fans for dinner. The other fans think that Logen likes Vivienne. When he sent backstage passes for Vivienne and a few fans who were with her, they were excited. During her stay in Norway, Vivienne didn’t know that so many unexpected things would happen in her life. Read this story to know what happens next.

The cover photo of the book is nice and the title is suitable. The story is well paced and I enjoyed reading it. The backdrop setting is impressive and the characters are well written. This story will stay in my head for a long time. Great work done by the author in this book.
