Semi-Detached written by the author Deborah Stone is a thrilling psychological drama. The story features two couples. Bill and Amanda are living in a semi-detached house. They are stuck with boredom in their life.

Terry and Fiona Blackwood moved down from Harrogate. They are now the next door neighbors of Bill and Amanda. When Bill and Amanda didn’t welcome their new neighbours, Fiona brought the cake for them. She went to say hello as it’s important to be friendly with your neighbours in case of an emergency.

After meeting Amanda, Fiona felt like she didn’t want to hang around for longer. Read this story to know how the two couples will get along with each other as they are opposites.

Those who love reading thrillers should definitely get their hands on this one. The book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It’s a page turner. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. The characters are well written by the author and the ending is surprising. I had a great time reading this book.

Black Water, The China Connection is an intriguing story written by the author Robert J. Saniscalchi. The main character of the story is Jason Patrick.

Jason had received his promotion to US Army Special Forces Chief Warrant Officer. He was stationed at nearby Fort Bragg, North Carolina. His new rank gave him some time with his family. There is a newly-elected president in America and in spite of the increasing tensions between America and China, the President wasn’t concerned.

This gave China the opportunity to take action on their Black Water Project. America has been in power for years. China’s goal is to become the world’s dominant power now. With Black Water solution, China is planning a chemical attack on America. That would impact America badly and it would be in complete economic turmoil. Read this story to know what will happen next.

I enjoyed every bit of this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished it. The storyline is powerful and this story kept me on the edge of my seat. The cover photo is nice and the language used in the book is lucid. I am definitely interested in reading more books by the author.

Dream Source is a wonderful poem that inspires us to live our dreams. It’s easy for dreams to remain dreams but we should live them.

‘You are Legend’ tells the readers that they are nice, likeable, energetic, etc.

Wishing is another beautiful poem in which the lover wishes to be with the person whom she loves.

I read this book while sitting on the front porch and enjoyed every bit of it. This book took me down the memory lane and reminded me of sweet and bitter memories of life. It also inspired me to chase my dreams. I got my hands on this book at the right time. Go ahead with this one.

Isaiah’s Mountain written by the author Ceri Leigh Berry is a must read. The story is set in the year 1901. The war broke out between the British and the two Boer states. One day in May 1901, Jo was having the gut feeling that the mild Karoo morning was the last that she would live to see. Jo’s husband tried to play both sides (the British and the Boer) and he lost the game.

Jo had chosen to stand with her countrymen, the Boers. When the British soldiers came, she didn’t raise the white flag. Jo was expecting this moment and she already sent her two children to the hideout. When Jo was surrounded with khaki men in uniforms, she was choked with fear. Jo recognised one soldier as his body features were similar. He was Lukas Bester. How does Jo know this man? Get to know more about her life as Joanna Shepherd.

This is a gripping story that will keep you hooked till the last page. The cover photo of the book is nice. The story kept on the edge and I was constantly wondering what would happen next. The language used in the book is lucid and the author has done great work in this book.

Grief Blessings written by the author Mal Moss is a story of Unimaginable Grief and Unexpected Blessings. Losing a loved one takes a huge toll on us. Mal was very close to her mother. One day, when a lump was found in her mother’s breast, nobody thought that it would take away her life. The cancer spread in her bones, brain, etc and Mal’s mother passed away.

Mal was pregnant with a daughter when her mother got sick. When Mal’s daughter, Brittany was born she was perfect. When Brittany was 11 months old, she developed a high fever and needed medical attention. As the story progresses, Mal loses another beloved woman in her life. Read the story to know who she was and more about Mal’s daughter.

The language used in the book is lucid and the title is suitable. I am grateful to the author for sharing her story with us. It gives hope to the readers to be a heroine of your life instead of being a victim. Mal’s story is heart touching and I am glad to read this book.

Those who love reading memoirs should get their hands on this one. It would take you on a rollercoaster journey full of emotions.

The author has shared planning, organizing and time management tips that would be a life saver. The author has shared various budget management tips as we have new responsibilities with new life. Learning budget management helps in paying bills timely and we can therefore avoid any financial difficulties.

This book has all the tips that a student would need. How to do laundry, travel tips, exploring job opportunities, etc are the great tips by the author. I love planning, organizing but struggling a lot with time management these days. I am glad to get my hands on this book. I have learned useful tips from this book. The author has written this book nicely and it’s a unique book.

It’s a fantastic book to prepare you for the first year of your new independent life away from home. An insightful read that I strongly recommend to teenagers, students, parents, etc!

The author has written this book in four parts. Initially she has shared about her high school sweetheart Lionel Francis whom she married. Jean didn’t have an interest working for the federal government but life has other plans for her. After marriage, she was blessed with a daughter. Jean and Lionel were in Germany when their second daughter was delivered. Jean was blessed again and this time with a baby boy.

After serving for seven years in Germany, Jean and her family returned to the United States. Jean worked as a government worker with various agencies in the United States. No matter how talented Jean was, there was a blockage on her road to professional success. The unprofessional conduct by others made it difficult for her to perform her duties.

Read this book to know the entire story of Jean’s life and her fight against racism, religious discrimination, etc. The writing style of the author is raw and the title couldn’t have been better than this.

Those who love reading memoirs should definitely get their hands on this one.

I love reading Crime fiction. After finishing the first book in the “Rick and Katja,” book series, I was excited to get my hands on the second installment in the series.

In this book, we again meet Rick and Katja, the two main characters. Both of them had many dangerous adventures in the first book and it continues in the second book. The story began with Rick killing the man named Roger. Roger was selling the secrets of his nation in Salzburg. He explained to Rick that he has to pay for his daughter’s college and that’s why he is doing so. Rick didn’t hesitate to kill the man.

Read this story to find out what would be the next adventure for Rick and Katja. Will their relationship stand the test of time? Since the author has served in the US army for many years, he has had great knowledge about the world of espionage, danger, assassinations, etc. The language used in the book is lucid and I enjoyed every bit of it. The author has done fantastic work in this book. I am curious to read more books by Ian in the future.

I’m Still Standing written by the author Clara Eve is a story of strength and hope. In this book, the author has shared her story about the time she was in a dark place and how she isn’t a victim but a survivor.

Clara has been abused physically, mentally and sexually in her life. She was teased in school and abused in the home. Clara didn’t have a safe spot. She doesn’t remember most of the details about her youth. Clara’s mother was herself abused as a child but she passed on the abuse to her children.

I appreciate Clara for being a good mother. She didn’t pass the abuse to her children. It was a miracle for Clara when she got her children back from foster care. Since 2017, she has been raising her two daughters and is very much involved in giving them every opportunity they deserve.

I am grateful to the author for sharing her story with us. The author’s story is an inspiration that tells the readers that even though we are in a dark place at some moment in life, one can see a shimmer of light. The writing of the author is raw and the language is easy to follow. It’s a must read book without any second thoughts.

Howler and Prime written by the author J.M. Fickling is a must read. The story features Sullus, a shadow. Quo was bitter as he was robbed of a glorious death on a mortal battlefield. Ru is a war god and how she achieved that status is a mystery to Sullus. Khul is secretive. He defeated a mad God Vexyl. What happened to the mad god then is a secret.

Once after the lightning and thunder, three mortal men known as Sons of Thunder stood in front of the gods. They were banished to this strange new world. Sullus suggested using the mortals so they can increase their own power. What will happen when the time comes to sentence the sons of thunder unto the Great Trial.

The story is unique and takes the readers into a mysterious Sci-fi world. The world building is unique and I appreciate the author’s vivid imagination in creating this mysterious world. The narration is smooth and I was able to follow the story easily. The cover photo is nice and the story is well paced.
