“The Legend of Circe: Circe’s Awakening” written by the author Leonard Kearon MSc is an intriguing read. The story is set in the city of Sunsport that is situated on the South-East coast of Hibernia. The Cybertrix Sphere, a powerful robotic empire, has plans to take over Sunsport. When Sunsport was attacked by aliens, the Sunsport heroes and Circe helped in saving one child. 

Circe’s dad David was concerned when he saw his daughter firing energy blasts from her hands. The Department of Superpowers and Heroics learnt about Circe’s superpowers and sent her a meeting invitation. Professor Fargo Jones took her to Sunsport Super School where she could be trained to use her powers. Circe and her father got to know that her power has come from some Divine Source. Circe has these powers for a special purpose. What is it?

Read the story yourself to know what happens next. The storyline is interesting and this book is a perfect escape from reality for a few hours. I enjoyed the plot and the amazing writing style of the author. The character of Circe is my favourite. The story is well paced and readers won’t feel like putting this book down until the last page. This book is a must read by middle grade fantasy fiction lovers.

“The Daedalus Mission” written by the author Dietmar Arthur Wehr is the first book in “A Battle For Mars” book series. The story features two companies: SpaceX and Bifrost-S. In the year 2029, SpaceX astronauts are about to enter orbit around Mars. Starship Alpha is losing methane very slowly so the ship would have enough fuel to enter a stable orbit around Mars but not enough to land safely. 

Therefore, SpaceX asks Bifrost-S to have a piloted Daedalus ready to fly to Mars to rendezvous with Alpha, take the astronauts on board, then bring them back home. The problem is D-1 isn’t ready for a manned mission in early August. However, SpaceX is stubborn about it. Konrad volunteered to pilot Daedalus One. Read the story to know what plan the team would finalize. What would happen when they get to know that the Chinese are planning to land on Mars too. 

The story is interesting and it kept me on the edge of my seat. The writing style of the author is amazing. The characters are well developed. The twists and turns in the story kept the tension high throughout the book. I enjoyed every bit of this book.

Sci-fi and techno thriller fans would be delighted to read this book. I appreciate the vivid imagination of the author in the world building.

Death Never Sleeps written by the author David Grace is the first installment in the Chris Hunter book series. The story features Detective James “Big Jim” Donegan and his partner Chris Hunter. The latest case is about a call girl who was strangled and then put into the wood chipper.

While solving the case, Big Jim often asks questions from Chris. Chris knew that these questions were a test to teach him something. While investigating and questioning Johnny-Boy Watkins, they found out that the strangled girl was one of Johnny-Boy’s girls. Darja Novoriska was roommates with Fatima. They both worked for Johnny-Boy and had plans to leave him soon. Darja was making good money for Johnny-Boy but who killed her?

The writing style of the author is nice. The language used in the book is lucid and I was able to follow the story easily. This book kept me on the edge the whole time. The way Big Jim kept on teaching something to Chris is something I really liked. The story is well paced. Those who love reading crime fiction should definitely get their hands on this book.

“Fate of a Prince” written by the author Hannah Gaudette is the first installment in the Destined Duology. King Edwin Tala and his wife Amelia gave birth to a son. They named him Lance Tala. It was painful for Edwin when he realized that their firstborn would not live long enough to be king. He was a baby born for sacrifice. 

Kyden has been living a life of scavenging. Since the age of twelve, he has been on his own. His mother married a man who isn’t a good step-father. When Prince Lance Tala was in Eaglewood, Kyden stole from him. The punishment for theft against the royal household is imprisonment. Kyden didn’t want to go to prison. Prince Lance asked him to be his manservant. He even paid coins to his step-father so Kyden could be a manservant for Prince Lance. 

When Kyden’s step-father asks him to put a sedative in Prince’s food, will Kyden do it? Will his step-father really free his mother? Read the story yourself to know what happens next. The language used in the book is lucid and easy to follow. I appreciate the vivid imagination of the author in writing this story. The cover photo of the book is nice. The narration is smooth and strong. I had a great time reading this book. Great work by the author in the first book in the series.

Lawless Tradition written by the author P.D. Blackwell is a unique read. Through this book, the author is opening the reader’s eyes to the forgotten biblical facts. Through this book, the author wants to highlight how the alterations to the Christian faith have produced the multi-denominational Christendom of the 21st century. When this Christendom was compared to the 1st century original, it was realized that the original meaning was a bit lost. 

In this book, the author has described with examples how certain meanings are not conveyed properly to the believers. He has explained the true meaning of God and Jesus. The author has mentioned how one shouldn’t consider themselves equal as God. There is a difference between being united with God or thinking of someone as equal to God.

This book is an easy read with many scriptural references. The author has shared valuable information in this book and I appreciate his passion for God. Non-fiction fans couldn’t afford to miss reading this book. I strongly recommend this book especially for Christians.

“Joe 6 Pack Straightens Out” written by the author Winsor Smith is a must read book. Winsor, who has been a habitual drinker, took a challenge to abstain from alcohol for 30 days. The habits he developed during his sober month stayed with him and brought long term changes in his life.

During the challenge, the author had written notes of his high and low moments. This book is written from those notes. By breaking bad habits, we could get more free time which we could use to do something productive. Winsor started taking Spanish lessons and reading a book.

I am a teetotaller and I enjoyed every bit of the author’s journey. This book is not just for a habitual drinker but for everyone who wants to break bad habits and develop good ones. The author’s journey inspired me to take a month’s challenge for the habits I want to build and break. This is a well written book. I am glad to read it.

“Ancient Friendship for Modern Men: How to Build Lasting Friendships & Adventures from Ancient Ideas” written by the author Don Owens is a must read. In this book, the author has mentioned how technology which was supposed to bring us close to other people has made us even lonelier. 

When Don was fifteen years old, his parents told him that they were moving to Texas because of his father’s job. Don wasn’t happy to move away from his friends at school and church. After moving to Texas, he had many acquaintances but not a close friend. 

The kindness of Don’s friend Tim left a permanent impression on his heart. Tim’s kindness and the author’s faith in Jesus inspired him to intentionally build friendships.

The writing style of the author is amazing. The content of this book is great. I have never come across a person in my life who intentionally builds friendship. It is good to know that the author puts effort into it. There should be more people who seek intentional friendships and know how to be a true friend. I strongly recommend this book to more and more people.

I love reading unique books. This time, I got my hands on Thomas Lubben’s book “The Eyewitnesses”. As a Son of God, Jesus has walked on this earth for thirty years. During his ministry, people have witnessed the miracles he did and they also witnessed his death by the Romans. 

The Wedding at Cana is my favorite event from the book. It’s about Eitan, a wine steward who lives in Nazareth. One day he was called to a prominent synagogue in Cana to provide wine for a large wedding. Eitan was worried when all the wine was finished. Jesus saw him worried and helped him by turning water into the wine. That day, Eitan witnessed a miracle.

The author hopes that the readers see themselves in the place of the eyewitnesses so they can enjoy this book more. This idea by the author worked well. I enjoyed every bit of this book. I understood the events surrounding Jesus’ life well. This book is written nicely by the author. The book is well paced and I wasn’t bored anytime while reading it. Add this book to your tbr. You would be glad to read it guys.

“The Ultimate Self-Esteem Toolkit” written by the author Risa Williams provides the readers with 25 tools to boost confidence, achieve goals and find happiness. My reason for picking this book is to learn how to be kind to myself on a daily basis.

First, the author has suggested we wrap a kindness blanket around us. While wearing this blanket, we can say to ourselves that “We are figuring things out one step at a time”. The author has mentioned how positive self-talk can increase our motivation.

Readers would find various tips in this book to boost their confidence. The inspiration book idea is amazing. Sometimes, we need to remind ourselves how our own inner hero has saved ourselves. One would get insights on how they can achieve their goals. We need to break our goals into monthly and weekly goals.

This is a must read book. Having high self-esteem is very important. I appreciate the author for sharing great information with us through this book. I am definitely gonna apply this information to increase my confidence. One could take notes while reading this book. Go ahead with this well-written book without any second thoughts.

The Ovenlight Saga written by the author Stefanie Mellor is the first installment in the Baking Dough book series. The story starts with Ella in the cold, damp town of Ports, in the state of Oregon. Ella started high school. There, she saw the Collins family for the first time. Collins moved to Ports from Santa Clara a few years ago.

Carlo is the father of the Collins siblings. He is a veterinarian and has earned lots of respect and admiration from others. Ella loves eating pizzas. She could eat 6 or 7 pieces of pizza easily. She keeps a jar of jalapenos with her in her backpack and she makes herself a jalapenos pizza.

When Ella was at the BargainBin with a pizza cafe in it, she realized someone’s eyes on her. It was Tedwin’s. He sensed the different smell and found it to be of pizza. Ella caught him staring at her. Ella is the only girl whose thoughts Tedwin couldn’t read. Read this story to know if Tedwin and Ella could become friends or more than that.

The writing style of the author is nice. The cover photo of the book is eye-catching. This book has added funny twists and turns in the twilight story. The language used in the book is lucid and I had a great time reading this book.

The fans of the Twilight movie series should definitely get their hands on this book.
