This book is a reminder to us that God is the only way for us to achieve the desires of our heart. Things that seem impossible get possible with the mighty God. The author has been in challenging situations in her life. She had two troubled marriages. Her heart was always looking for the kind of love that was there in her dreams but none of her two husbands could provide that kind of love.

This made Sheila frustrated and wonder why God isn’t listening to her. Through her journey, Sheila wants us to remember that we should not throw away our confident trust in the Lord. The Prayer at the end of the book is amazing. It guides us to pray and worship the Lord no matter the circumstances.

This is a fantastic book that would remind readers to not give up on their dreams. This book would make readers feel confident with high self-esteem. It would enhance your faith in the Lord as he doesn’t forgive us or the dreams he has put in our hearts. Healing is possible with God. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it’s worth reading. I have read a book by this author for the first time and definitely it won’t be the last. Hope Sheila comes up with more books in the future. Loved her work.

Neon Nothing written by the author Ryan Mckinney is the debut novel of the author. The story features two main characters. Key doesn’t remember his past and Shio has no future. Key is not his original name. It’s what people call him. He is desperate to find out about his past so he can live a peaceful life.

Key was surrounded by so many wires with a surgeon cut into his arm to do some tests. One day, Key took his sample to get it analyzed. The moment the sample was analyzed, Key was being chased and he ran away. Shio lives on the respectful side of the wall and he has to stay in his lane. He works at Kigen technologies and is not happy with his tech-support job. Read this story to know what he will do that he is now on the other side of the wall.

The story is gripping. The characters are written well by the author. Being in a corporate, I could relate well to Shio not liking his job. I appreciate the vivid imagination of the author in creating the fantasy world in the story. Read this book to know if Shio and Key will uncover the truth. Go ahead with this book without any second thoughts.

Maiden to None written by the author D. A. Gatlin is the first book in “The Terkian Triplets” book series. It’s a story with a female protagonist named Trinity. Trinity’s birth kingdom is Terika but she has no memory of it. Her both parents died in Terika on the night she was born. Trinity was taken in by her distant family. Trinity’s mother was adopted by the King and Queen of Hydlix. Ever since her parents death, her aunt Evita had been raising her as a royal ward of Hydlix.

There could be an attack on Hydlix. Hydlixian knights are the bravest warriors in all of Taercion. They have been trained well. Trinity’s aunt always tells her that the woman’s job is to wear beautiful dresses and marry handsome princes. Wearing heavy armor and serving as knights is a men’s job. Soon, Trinity became friends with Schobe.

A retired knight, Guren told Trinity about the green-haired king with a strength of a hundred men. Like her father, Trinity also has strength. Till now, she only knows about her strength causing accidents. Trinity was surprised to know that Guren asked her mother to be a knight once. Read this story to know what Trinity’s destiny is.

Those who love reading fantasy stories should definitely get their hands on this book. The plot of the story is gripping. The narrative is smooth. The story is well paced and it doesn’t have any dull moments. The author has used lucid language in the book. I enjoyed every bit of this book. Curious to get my hands on Book 2 in the series.

“The Reflex Part 2: 2nd Book in The Reflex Series” written by the author Maria Denison is a captivating read. It hooked my attention from the first page itself. Reed, Nic, Cara, Sasha, Jake were all sitting together when they found out that Nic and Cara are gifted with the ability to communicate telepathically. Nic can hear her thoughts and can also project his thoughts to her. It’s no magic but there is science behind it.

Cara tells Jake that she gets fleeting glimpses when she tries to read other people’s thoughts. But Jake is completely closed. Jake told her that this is because he is blocking her. Cara, Nic, Jake explored each other’s minds. Later, they found out Max and Mia communicate telepathically. If the siblings want to talk in front of their parents, they do it telepathically. Max admitted that he takes advantage of his talent. He figures out the next move of the players on the field using his gift.

Cara also sensed Reed’s emotions. She discovered that Reed loves the intimacy they share. Read the story to know how all reveals will affect the relationships.

Before reading this book, one should read Book 1 in the series as it is not a standalone book. The book has lots of science information so readers from a science background could connect more with this book. The plot is fascinating. The book is well paced and I had a great time reading this book.

Since Lisa reached puberty, her mom likes to give seductive lingerie as a birthday gift to her. Only this time, she has given a cheque to her.

Elizabeth wanted Lisa to graduate and get married. She wanted her to dress like women instead of wearing the Levi dungarees, and the Doc Marten boots. Lisa didn’t have any interest in man. She likes to be independent and wants to become a journalist. After graduation, Lisa fulfilled her dream and is a journalist now. She is a workaholic. Read this story to know how her mother’s lie would get her fired from a job one day. Who is Penny and why does she hate Lisa? What’s the secret of her father?

The story is interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat. There are many turning points in the story and that made the story more interesting till the last page. The title of the book is suitable with an attractive cover photo. If you are looking for a book for light reading then go ahead with this family saga.

Hell’s Mouth is a psychological thriller written by the author Kevin Knuckey. The story features Andrew Tredinnick. His wife went out for the evening with her mates. At the Hell’s Mouth, Andrew was sure that it was Shona’s car with a faded yellow Baby on Board sign. Hell’s Mouth is infamous countrywide. Police were searching for Shona. When darkness arrived, the search was called off and Andrew didn’t know what to tell his kids.

Years ago, Andrew lost his first wife at the same spot. Merryn is Andrew’s and Shona’s daughter. Cameron is Andrew’s son with his first wife. Kerenza is Shona’s daughter from a previous marriage. Sometimes, Merryn was bullied in school for not having a mother. One day, Andrew received a call from Miss Sanders from Merryn’s school regarding her behavior. Since Shona’s loss, Andrew has been drinking heavily. Andrew was worried for Merryn. He didn’t realize when Cameron and Kerenza started getting close. When Cameron was getting closer to Kerenza, he thought she would resist but she didn’t.

Read this story to know what will happen next. Will Andrew be able to keep his family together? The story has many twists and turns. It kept me on the edge as I read it. The cover photo is well designed and the title of the book is suitable. The story is well paced and there weren’t any dull moments in it. I am glad to read this book. Looking forward to reading more books by the author.

“The Neighbors” is the latest book by the author M.C. Ryder that I have read. The protagonist of the story is Zoe. She is now a full-time staff member. She has worked hard in her life and throughout her years at nursing school. Her mother never hesitates to find another man for herself and she gives the same guidance to Zoe. Her mother constantly tells her to find a man as that’s the only way to get what you want in life. Zoe listens more to her favorite teacher Ms. Harris.

When the world wakes up, Zoe goes to bed after tiring night shifts. One sunny morning, when Zoe was about to sleep, she heard a loud banging from the neighboring apartment 22. Zoe went to her neighbors and asked them to keep the volume low. Later while jogging, Ms. Harris talked to Zoe about the guy Anthony but Zoe refused. Ms. Harris doesn’t want her to be as lonely as she is. She wants Zoe to settle with someone. However, Zoe is only committed to her job and doesn’t feel like committing to anyone else. How will things go with her neighbor?

This is a riveting tale. The story pulled me in totally. The title of the book itself made me curious to pick this book. The narrative is smooth and sets the flow of the story well. This book could be read in two sittings. The author has written the characters in such a way that they will stay on your mind for a long time. It’s my favorite book by the author.

Magic Gate written by the author Maciej Pawlucki is a perfect pick for fantasy and science-fiction lovers. This book is a collection of stories. Among these stories, Host is my favourite.

The main character of the story is Jeremy. He was informed by Rd. Perkins that he has little more than two months to live. One day, he received a call from a stranger claiming to be a pentagon officer. He offered three hundred bucks to Jeremy to meet him. A man named Nathan Bradley offered millions of dollars to Jeremy if he allows to conduct some experiments on him. Jeremy agreed.

Read this story to know what will happen. Will Jeremy get the money he was promised? Will he survive or is there a twist?

I also had a great time reading the story Dragon Lord. These stories will keep you on the edge of your seat. You won’t put this book down until you read at least one complete story. The writing style of the author is amazing. I appreciate his vivid imagination in the world building and writing vast characters that include dragons, aliens, immortal beings, etc.

This is an amazing book that gives you an escape from the real world into a fantasy world. I am definitely interested in reading more books by the author in the future.

“The Esoterian: Ramblings of a Madman” is a collection of poems written by the author Ehmbee Way. The poems are written on various topics like death, mind control, spirituality, love, purpose, regret, mental illness, etc. The author has written these poems by staying true to his works.

‘The Boundless Blue’ is one of my favorite poems from the book. Some of the lines are below from this poem:

I let go…
Of my self-doubting sermons
Of my rationalized fear
Of trepidation, excuses and caution and care

I let go…

Of my animal instincts
Of advisements decreed
Of their warnings, their anger, their bargains, their pleas

I let go…

Of her hand clasped in mine
Of her billion-year pull
Of the rickety old beam, cutting wind like a tool

This poem teaches readers to let go of their fears, self-doubt, animal instincts, excuses, etc.

“And Yet I Struggle” is a beautiful poem that would make the readers realize how they worry about things like death, destruction, disease, etc even though they aren’t in their hands. We all want to find a purpose in life. We desire validation from others and want to continuously improve. We keep on struggling in our lives with so many things.

The poems are written on the topics with which the readers could relate well. The author has written these poems in a free style so they can be natural. The title of the book is suitable with a cover photo that is attractive. The narrative is smooth and the readers could follow the poems easily. I had a great time reading this book. I strongly recommend it to fans of poetry.

“The Perfect Sister” written by the author Gail Meath is a murder mystery that would keep the readers on the edge of their seat. Lorraine Mansford was a beautiful woman. Men wanted her. Even though she was engaged to David, still other men approached her. Lorraine went to the summerhouse before she was murdered. Katherine was aware about her sister visiting the summerhouse often but she wasn’t aware of the danger associated with it.

A guy named Michael Johnston is accused of Lorraine’s murder. He reached the place after Lorraine was murdered. Since, the neighbors saw him leaving the house, they accused him. He is now hiding at a sea-washed cabin near Sandy Creek. It’s a private refuge for Katherine too and she recognized Michael. Michael told him that he is not her sister’s murderer and he is determined to find out who is behind it.

Katherine’s father despises her. He always hated Katherine’s weakness and now he hates her too. Katherine has one purpose in life now and that is to help an accused murderer. Katherine idolized her sister Lorraine. However, was her sister really that perfect as she seemed to Katherine?

The book kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. The narration is smooth and I enjoyed every bit of this book. The writing style of the author is amazing. The plot of the story is interesting. The author has used lucid language in this book. I had a great time reading it.
