“Miles and the Moon Cave” written by the author H.H. Hauser is an exciting adventure book. The main character of the story is a boy named Miles Dobbs. Miles lives in a little house with his father Thomas Dobbs. Thomas is a mining tycoon and he involves Miles in the mining projects.

Abigail was Miles’ step-mother. Miles calls her step-wolf. He knows that the decision to send him to boarding school must be of his step-mother. One day, Miles’ best friend Wyatt heard that someone is keeping Miles’ father’s letters from him and he is being paid to do so. Miles went to the dean for help but ended up disappointed. Read this story to find out if Miles ever gets a chance to see his father again.

Those who enjoy reading middle grade adventurous stories should definitely get their hands on this book. The writing style of the author is nice. The cover photo is well designed. I had a great time reading this book. Miles is my favorite character.

“The Perfect Relationship: 28 days towards love” written by the author Dorela Iepan is an amazing read dedicated to women. By reading this book, your perspective towards your relationship will shift. The author wants us to set our intention for the 28 days.

Dorela has mentioned how gratitude can help us to improve our relationships. One important thing I have learnt from this book is that God is within us. We need to discover the divinity in us. The author has included great expressions to reflect upon. These expressions would level up our faith in God and would make us a better person.

This book opens our eyes by telling us that we may not see visible changes in our life right now but what we do today plants the seeds for our relationship so we get exactly what we want in the future.

The exercises given at the end of the chapters would help us in self-awareness and improve our relationships. The author has included many movie and book recommendations in it. I am grateful for that. This book gave me so many positive vibes. It guides us to plant seeds everyday the same way the tomato seeds must be planted every year to bear fruit. I will use this book as a guide everyday.

This book would help women to rediscover themselves. Go ahead with it without any second thoughts.

“The Prince of Oregon” written by the author Sasha Quinn is a romantic comedy and the story fits my reading taste perfectly. The main characters of the story are Prince Edward and Emma Prescott. Prince Edward has recently landed in Astoria, Oregon. On the flight, he met Mike Donnelly, a fisherman.

Edward’s father, the king, wanted him to help in restoring Astoria to its former glory. When Edward went to Astoria, people weren’t taking him seriously. He was also put in jail but on Mikey’s request, the Prince was released from jail.

On the other hand, Emma was running for the City Council. She realized that people are happy with their current lives and aren’t very open to accepting any changes. Read this story to know will Emma believe Edward is a Prince.

The writing style of the author is nice. The language used in the book is lucid. I had a great time reading this book. The storyline is written well. The cover photo of the book is eye-catching. Go ahead with it without any second thoughts.

SHOOG is a fiction story written by the author Jo E. Jennings. The main character of the story is a seventeen-year-old Holly Bishop. Her childhood was far from perfect. Her life with her father Noel Augustus Bishop was full of danger as he knows his way with knives very well. Holly’s mother moved to Small Town, Missouri along with her sister Eve and Holly.

They started living with their Grams and Gramps. Holly’s mother was never without a boyfriend. Out of all the boyfriends of her mother, Holly’s favorite was Bruce but he didn’t receive the approval of Grams and Holly’s mother had to break up with him. Her mother married a man named Delmer. One day, she was hospitalized. After some time, Holly’s family again moved to Small Town, Missouri. Delmer left them to be back with his first wife.

Her sister Eve was married and Holly thought her mother didn’t want Holly to be alone. So, she should also find someone and get married. What would happen when Holly’s nemesis Nikki would tell her that Hugh Coffee wants to go out with her.

This is a great fiction story. Holly’s life wasn’t easy ever. The writing style of the author in this book is nice. This book opens our eyes to the life of a child who has spent it in abuse. The character of Holly is written well by the author.

A Suit for Melvin is an intriguing read. The main character of the story is a boy named J.J. Baskin.

He lives with his grandma in a small town in Missouri. She works at the hotel. Everyone knows she is a great cook. Once J.J. took off with Sheriff Doolin’s squad car. He even let the stranger drive him home. The sheriff told J.J. that the stranger could have murdered him but J.J. believes that God watches out for children. J.J. is ready to accept that he is an orphan but Grandma Polly keeps secrets from him.

One day, J.J. received an invitation to a formal dance. He noticed Melvin’s unopened party invitation lying on the desk. J.J. assured Melvin that they will find a suit for him. Read this story to know what happens next.

The writing style of the author is nice. The cover photo is designed well. It was interesting to read the adventures of J.J. and the way he was so kind to Melvin. The author has amazing storytelling skills. I had a great time reading this book.

Zayin: Endless War written by the author Josh Goldstein is a science fiction. The story is set on the planet Zayin. After Prime Minister Mabus-Tel betrays King Zavid and overthrows the monarchy, it is up to Prince Taal, Princess Liron, and General Tor-Ox, to fight the forces of Mabus-Tel and Amgog. 

Prince Taal and Mabus’ daughter Lady Zaina-Gog were in love and wanted to marry each other. One day, Mabus-Tel was accused of being the leader of a secret society whose mission was the fall of the monarchy. Mabus got life imprisonment on a tiny rock island in the Scimitar Sea called Alba. Follow the rebellion of Prince Taal as he fights to reclaim his home. 

I appreciate the vivid imagination of the author in world building. The plot is vast and there are many characters making it difficult to keep track of all. There are many timelines and subplots in the story. I like to recommend this book to avid science fiction readers.

“The Prodigal Son: A Prisoner’s Story of Redemption” written by the authors Marshall Jones and Jessica Jones is a unique read. This is the story of Marshall and Jessica Jones.

As a kid, Marshall was afraid of the arguments that happened between his parents. When his dad left, Marshall was looking for the stability that was stolen. When his family moved to his grandmother’s place, Marshall was abused there by a man. This abuse stayed with him and broke his spirit. It frustrated him and made him question God “why wasn’t he protected?”

As the story progresses, we find Marshall’s mom falling for drugs and spending time away from kids till she gets better. Read this story to find out why Marshall got two life sentences. How would his time be spent in prison?

The writing style of the authors is nice. Those who enjoy reading biographies should get their hands on this book. The narration is smooth and strong. I had a great time reading this book.

“God, the Mafia, My Dad, and Me: A True Story of Secrets and Survival” is a story by Lori Lee Peters. In this story, we meet thirteen-year-old Lori Peters growing up in the suburban town of Lodi, California. Lori loves her dad Lou Peters a lot. Her dad was mostly busy at his office with his dealerships. 

One day, he received an offer of two million for a car dealership from Joe Bonanno Sr. Joe is the head of the mafia for the whole United States. To work with Joe’s sons, Lou Peters took a separation from his wife and daughter. Read this story to find out will Lou be safe or is there any danger involved. 

The story is gripping. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t keep the book aside until I finished reading it. The writing style of the author is easy to understand. This story is based on true events and I was shocked to read the ending of it. Looking forward to reading more books by the author in the near future.

The Power of Pegasus written by the author Milush Black is an interesting read. The main characters of the story are Sophie and Mo. Sophie is a graphic designer who got an offer from CooperateEvent. At her office, a few of her colleagues were very weird and she spent the first week at the office with much difficulty. 

She met Mohamed, an Arab looking guy at the office. Mohamed was from Bahrain and he had a secret girlfriend Brigitta who gave bad vibes to everyone. Most of the people at the office hate Brigitta and Sophie decided to keep her distance from her. Things turned in a bad way for Sophie when Mo tried to kiss her and she stepped back. Mo is now determined to destroy Sophie’s life and his girlfriend is helping him in that. 

Read this story to know what would happen next with Sophie. This is a gripping story that kept me on the edge of my seat as I read it. The cover photo of the book is nice and the title is suitable. 

Those who enjoy reading thrillers and crime fiction should definitely get their hands on this book. Great work done by the author in it.

“Running to Catch Up: Winning in Spite of Myself” written by the author Stephanie Jones is a powerful read. This book inspires us to go after our dreams and conquer our fears. The author has shared about her fears. While growing up, we get uncomfortable in our own skin. Through self-introspection, the author figured out how the fears came into her life.

Stephanie has felt God’s presence in her life while growing up. She has always believed in him. I agree with the author when she has mentioned that while growing up, some fears manifested in her and her God given talents were left behind. “Winning with Courage: Career” chapter inspired me to not let my fear paralyze me.

I learned various lessons from this book. These lessons would be helpful in my own journey.

After reading this book, I am inspired to do better in my personal and professional life. I got my hands on this book at the right time. If you are determined to live your best life then get your hands on this book. You would be delighted to read it. It is an insightful read. I am grateful to the author for sharing her journey with us.
