The Kingdom Within is the debut book of the author Samantha Gillespie. Princess Meredith is not excited about her eighteenth birthday. As she will turn eighteen, she has to marry the princess of Alder. This marriage was fixed years back by Meredith’s parents and the king and queen of Alder. When Meredith got to know about her fate, she wanted to run away. Alder is the most powerful kingdom in the Eastern Continent.

For the safety of people of kingdom of Stonefall, this alliance with Alder is important. When news reached the kingdom of Talos, king Theros wanted to kill Meredith so he can stop the marriage and as a result break the alliance between Stonefall and Alder.

A soldier of Alder was sent as an escort for Meredith. When she first saw him, she was astonished to learn that he is a soldier. Connor looks rich and dashing. Grab a copy of this book and unveil the suspense yourself.

This is a quick read. I enjoyed each and every bit of this story. Cover photo looks so eye catchy. World building is amazing and the storyline captivated me right from the first page. It is a nice story that one can read in a single sitting. Pace of the story is fine and the characters are nicely penned down. Much excited to read the sequel “The Lost Throne” now. If you are into YA Fantasy stories, don’t miss to read this one.

Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can,should or need to do it alone. Its really important that we all have someone in our life who helps us in our difficult times and after reading this book I think that yes we all have someone in our life who takes care of us and makes us what we are.

Below them the horizon is a tale about Lucy, a girl who is dealing with mental illness and anxiety. We all know it is really difficult to deal with such kind of situation but she had her best friend Audra who came to rescue when she needed her the most. It was so mesmerizing and emotional to check out how Audra instead of having problems in her home was there with Lucy to support her. Though Lucy had her parents but then also she needed someone whom she get warmth from , and was no other than Audra. The author has so well depicted the bond between the two of them that I even got emotional at times .

I will definitely say that each one of you deserve to read the bond between these two friends. With simple language and intriguing plot the author will definitely keep the readers engrossed till the end. The book also offers motivation and courage to all the people for sure. I’ll definitely recommend all to read it and experience this excellent writing for sure.

Snow in Summer written by the author Laura Kemp is the second book in the Evening in the Yellow Wood Series. Justine’s dad has left them eleven years ago and her mom hasn’t dated anyone since then. Now her mom has met a new guy Paul at a pottery class in Kalamazoo. Justine’s dad also had an affair with Adam’s mother Pam. Justine is glad to have Adam in her life. She has a brother now without whom she can’t imagine her life.

Story is set in Michigan and Mackinac Island. Dylan and Justine’s romance continues in this part from the book 1. Justine thought that Henry Younts is taken care of but when he was found alive, Justine has to defeat him to protect her loved ones.

There is much growth in the characters in this book. Cover of the book looks brilliant. Language is simple and easy to understand. Story is intriguing and I read it in two sittings. Author has done amazing job in building an intriguing world.

I am much excited to read Book 3 in the series by Laura Kemp.

Scots Honor is a crime fiction penned down by the author K.M. Hardy. Protagonist of the story is Sampson Angus McKay, a cop in Cleveland, Ohio. Story starts with a situation to negotiate a hostage at the bank when it went wrong and the main captive Brian Cairne was shot by the robber. When Sam was in his office, he received the Divorce papers from his American wife Meredith. She had also taken sole custody of their 12 years old son Oliver.

His Hostage Negotiation team was completely disbanded by Jackson Green, son-in-law of Brian Cairne. After his divorce, he has to return to his home in Scotland. There, Sam met an American girl who is a bartender Liz. Later, while investigating the case he found out that this bartender goes by the name Erin too.

Story is full of suspense and twists. Language of the book is simple and easy to understand. Cover photo looks nice. There are so many characters in this story to keep track of. Plot of the story is unique and set at interesting places Cleveland, Scotland. I enjoyed reading this crime fiction and like to strongly recommend it to my followers.

I love reading romance novels. “A Second Chance in Tuscany” by Shantal Sessions is a story about two main characters Selene and Josh. When they were in Haleakala on a two weeks vacation, they liked each other’s embrace. Selene’s family loved Josh. Now, on the last day of vacation, Josh promised Selene to come to Greece after finishing up the landscaping job at the resort.

As time passed by, Selene had to deal with the miscarriage of her baby alone. Josh never came to Greece to see her. What she didn’t know was that Josh came to Greece and she wasn’t there. Josh’s mother was also upset with Selene as she didn’t inform Josh that she is moving out of Greece.

Fate wanted them to meet again. So, when Josh went to Italy to fix his grandma’s house, he met Selene there who had to move to Italy with her family due to the crisis in Greece. Will Josh and Selene love each other back? Selene is now getting attention of other Italian guys at the photo shoot. Will things gonna be easy for Josh?

Story has a strong female protagonist who is happy to help her family financially. The side character of Uncle Ray is amazing. I also have someone like Ray who helped my family in difficult times. Love can happen in two weeks or in two minutes. This story is gripping and the plot is well constructed. Characters are nicely described by the author. Overall, it’s a nice story that I am enthralled to read.

Pricked is the first novel that I have read written by the author Haley M Malone. Protagonist of the story is Bliss Margret Stowe. Throughout her school life, Alex has been a bully and leave no chance to make fun of her. In Cheboygan’s High School also, Alex did the same and since her mother is the mayor of the town, she always rescues her daughter.

Bliss family is the owner of the camp store in the state where Alex and Bliss both work now. One day, Bliss was all in blueberry, cherry and apple and Alex was making fun of her. A handsome guy King who is also the serial killer in her nightmares is standing in her camp store. Soon, two other guys Sam and Wheeler came to the store.

Later, Bliss got to know from Wheeler that Chaos created time and space. He is also the creator of her and her two sisters Clotho and Lachesis. Chaos wanted the three sisters to kill anyone who disobey him but the sisters rebelled.

Story is unique with a captivating plot. Story is set in Northern Michigan. I really liked all the characters that author has penned down so nicely. Bliss is such a great character. Chaos is a crazy villain as demanded by the story. The twist in the story will keep you turning pages after pages. Cover photo of the book is simple. Go ahead with this novel. It’s worth reading.

I love reading gothic horror novels. After reading “From Daylight to Madness” first book in the Hotel series I was much excited to read its sequel.

“When the Sleeping Dead Still Talk” by Jennifer Anne Gordon will take readers to a totally different world. Story starts with Francis in his hotel room on the second floor. In his childhood, he used to believe in God. But now, he knew that God is not listening but he knew that something is listening. He found the answer he was looking for when he saw Isabella. Since then, he believed only in her. He like to give books to Isabella but now with Isabella dead, to whom he would give.

He hallucinates about seeing Isabella’s shadow, seeing her with Oscar in her hand, hearing her singing her sad song. When Isabella’s casket was taken away from Dagger Island in the ship, Francis accompanied others. Story gets intriguing when Francis was in his little house in the Dorchester Neck.

It is a gripping tale. Narration is smooth and strong. Plot of the story is well constructed. Pace of the story is medium with a complex world. When Francis’s father has shattered glass on his face, he got a permanent scar. Francis’s character is complex and author must have put great efforts in writing it so nicely. Storyline is unique and readers who love gothic horror can’t put this book down without finishing it.

Due to the pandemic, since everyone is working from home, leaders can’t keep an eye on what the teammates are doing. In this book “Believing is seeing” concept is shared.

This book will guide leaders to power themselves consistently so they can be most advantageous to their team. This book is about about self-leadership influencing perspective that influences interactions and outcomes. Nicholas has also discussed about the Newton’s laws of motion that applies to projects and people also.

Language of the book is simple and easy to understand. Cover photo is very well designed. Writing style of Nicholas is impressive. I enjoyed reading this book. Story starts with an agent entering into the house of Butch to congratulate him for joining the force. Butch joined the Federal Bureau Republic but he wasn’t aware about that. To join the bureau agency, a person only has to type the text “I want to be an agent”. Without even sending it, he will be on-board. Butch typed this text 6 months back with his girlfriend. Just in 4 seconds now, he will complete his training. Butch will also receive his paycheck for the service.

With the terror of Avalon attack on every nation, countries has been Avalonized. Avalonization was the forced transcendence of one’s consciousness
and subconsciousness into the computer. The countries that were left were in war with the androids. The world has become so advanced that there are robot building car factories, countries are being hacked and taken over by machines that want to convert humans into machines.

Since the book is set in future with AI in the main role, the world building is little complex so I like to recommend this book to avid Sci-fi readers. I really appreciate author’s imagination in coming up with the world lead by robots. Language of the book is easy to understand. Cover photo looks simple. Narration is smooth and writing style is impressive. I like to recommend this book to dystopian and sci-fi readers.

Animal Council and the Disappearing Sea Ice by the author MV Solstrand is a book that is written as a result of personal experiences of author while living in the subarctic and Arctic for 17 years. Story starts with the tragic incident that showed us the unity among the different sea animals. The way tuna, Hank and the S.U.N. (Signal for Uniting Networks) together saved the dolphins by ripping the net apart is amazing.

Polar bear numbers are already reducing all over the Arctic. With the ice gone Marina, a female polar bear gonna starve and her Cubs too. When she smelled whale meat, she thought finally she can have something to eat but unfortunately she tumbled into the sea and managed to climb onto a small piece of ice. On the other hand, a two legger Magnhild got separated from her dad and she was floating on an ice piece in the middle of the sea. Will Animal Council rescue both?

The story is interesting. Reading this book was an amazing experience. It gave me an idea about the feelings of the animals. To maintain the balance, it is very important not to hunt the animals. This story is like a wake up call to maintain the balance in the nature. Cover photo is nice and title is suitable according to the story. I recommend my fellow readers to read this book at least once.
