The Broken II: Tainted Trail is the second book in The Broken series written by the author A.L. Frances. Story features a broken man Matthew Honey. Once, his house was filled with laughter and love but now it is tainted by evil and remains quiet and cold. Matthew has already lost his wife and now his daughter Eve is missing. Chief Inspector Lamont is after Matthew as he believes and wants to prove that Matthew has killed his wife and daughter. An evil entity has devoured Matthew’s daughter’s soul.

Matthew has to report to Lymington Police Station as per his monthly bail condition. He has to find his daughter to prove his innocence. On the other hand, Alice Parkinson is a mother to five children. She has lost her husband and now is in relationship with Jesse whom her mom doesn’t trust at all. Alice has only one daughter Hope Eva Lia Parkinson and 4 sons. Who is Jesse in reality? Find out yourself by reading this gripping tale. Plot of the story is well constructed. Written in lucid language the story will send the chills down your spine.

Cover photo of the book is well designed. It’s an intriguing story that one would enjoy more if binged read. I am glad to read this story and curious to read the next book in the series.

After reading “The Kingdom Has Arrived: Volume 1” by Amy Jean, I was very curious to read more of her work. Side Steps Terrorizing Sound Bites is a poetry collection. In this poetry book, Amy Jean reveals the diabolical ramifications of life being played rather than lived. As she went in reverse, she reflected anger because of the course traversed by her. This poetry book is a result of that.

All relationships synthetic
No meaning ever found
Fifty three years and
Still digging underground

Although all the poems are amazing in this collection but my few favorites are: Suit My Needs, Wherever You Go, There You Are?, You Don’t Say and Blue. I appreciate the honest feelings that Amy has shared with her readers in the form of poems. Language of the book is simple but emotional as well. Overall it’s a great poetry book that both beginners and avid readers can enjoy. I am excited to read the part 2 of Side Steps Terrorizing Sound Bites.

Jenn had a hit movie and she starred in show Paradise High for two years before they cancelled it. Her brother Ollie works for a world-renowned actor Mason Langford. When Ollie introduced Jenn to Mason, Mason started doing favors to Jenn and he helped in getting her a show also.

But whatever Mason is doing is not just to help Jenn. He has some motive behind it. Will Jenn agree to do whatever Mason is asking her to do? What will happen to Jenn’s relationship with her boyfriend Wes. Grab a copy of this interesting story and find out yourself what will happen next.

Story is told from multiple POVs. Language of the book is simple and easy to follow. Title of the story is perfect. Reading this story was such a smooth journey. I enjoyed it very much. Needom’s writing style is amazing and I am definitely interested in reading more of her novels in future.

It’s a beautiful thing to meet someone who makes you forget your troubles. I am sure you all will agree that there is always be a reason why you meet people, either you need to change your life or you are the one that’ll change theirs. The book dreams lost and found By Nikki A Lamers really makes me think about the life of people who are very lonely or have something very sad inside their hearts that they really want someone to share with.
The Story revolves around the despairing life of Samantha Voss who was an adopted child , and her late parents really used to love her alot, she have never thought of being adopted, she had recently lost his parents. She was able to find who her birth parents were through letters of her mother which she used to write to on every birthday of hers, she came to know that her mother was very young when she concived her and both his father and her wern’t much mature and settled to give the life she deserved. It was very emotional to know that her birth mother is no more, but she got to know where his birth father lives .She made courage to meet his father and shifted to Chance, where she met Brady and Cory , who really helped her . I am sure you all will definitely get totally in love with romantic moments that Samantha and Brady share. It was really interesting to see how Brady made Samantha strong enough to face all the challenges in her life.
This story really makes me think that how sometimes meeting a stranger feels like you’ve known them for your whole life, same like how Samantha met Brady! What happens next ? Will Samantha be able to meet his birth father and whats going to happen more in between the life’s of Samantha and Brady? For this you all realy need to read till the end and get mesmerized for sure. Also I am very much excited for the 2nd Part of this book, cant wait to read it too. The Author really made me read the the whole book in one sitting , since the emotions attached to the story made me sticked.

Adjustments with right peope is always better then argument with wrong people,A meaningful silence is always better then meaningless words. I completly agree with this saying and this is what I really understood from this really amazing 2nd Part of the Home Duet , Finding Home by Nikki A Lamers. After reading the first part I wasn’t able to resisit myself to dig into the second part straight away.
In the first part Samantha moved to Chance in search of his birth father where she met Brady. It was again really amazing to see how Brady supported in the whole process of Samantha understanding the dynamics with his birth father and his family. Jacky who is not only Brady’s ex Girlfriend is also daughter to Sam’s Birth Father, was making alot problems and misunderstanding between the Father -Daughter duo seeing Sam with Brady together.
Will Sam really be able to find her real home ? Where will she be spending all her future life? What more mesmerizing will happen between Sam and Brady? These questions will only be answered once you read this book. Nikki is really impressive with the stories she create. I am definitely looking forward to read more of her books. I have read her Unforgettable series and now the Home Duet just made me love with her writing. Till then I would like to recommend this book to everyone out there.

The Ascender is the first novel that I have read written by the author Tracey L Pacelli. Story features Billy Magnusson, a twelve years old boy who is in a middle school. Billy and his mom Shirley Magnusson move to a new place every summer. Billy’s dad has only two obsession: work and coffee. His dad is a military man and his mom is a Science teacher. Whenever they move to a new place because of his dad, a job is created for Billy’s mom as a teacher.

Billy has been the target of the Mandela Effect. He always called the attacks The Wave, a force of nature that tore away pieces from his shoreline, shifting
memories. When Billy’s family moved to Florida, he joined The Mayweather Charter School. At the school, he was asked to join any club and Billy randomly chosen The Ascension Club. Grab a copy of this book and read the story to know what all gonna happen in Billy’s life.

I appreciate author’s vivid imagination in writing this interesting story. Language of the book is lucid. Cover photo is well designed. Plot of the story is well thought. The wave striking Billy and changing fractions of his life is a nice concept. I enjoyed this story totally. Strongly recommended to science fiction or fantasy lovers.

Even this book made me remember this saying. This is the fifth book in the unforgettable series ad I am sure if you all have read the past book in the series you all would not miss to read this one too.
Sadie is a very strong and independent girl who married Micah and has an adorable son Holden, but one day a tragedy happened and she lost Micah, now she is living alone with his son , but she is very confident and courageous that she always aims to move forward in her life. Life turned back when she met Matt after 5 years . Matt is back with his family after a long time and he happens to spend more time with his family , to which his parents. brothers Christin , Johnson and sister Theresa are very happy. Matt and Sadie had a romantic past , around 5 years back in summers both met and they happen to have good romantic moments. You all would definitely get mesmerized with the moments which they had 5 years back , but things changed and they drifted apart . When they both met it was not so easy for both of them to get compatible again since situations were not the same as they were like back then.
It will definitely be interesting for all of you to catch up on what happens in the last, how they will be able to deal with the situations that are currently happening with them! With a simple plot and well connected narration , the author brings out the various emotions of the people in love and of course the essence of romance and respect. The author has given a good focus on the involvement of characters. This was the last book in the Unforgettable stories and I would definitely recommend you all to definitely read the complete series , I am sure you all would also love it as much as I loved it.

But sometimes due to some dark pasts and relationships our trust for love gets eliminated, Same happend with Theresa and Jax in the fourth part of unforgettable series by Nikki.
Theresa shifted with his brother Christin and sister-in-law Bree after a many months of therapy as she had a horrible accident before.She wasnt anticipated by the kind of attention she was getting by her parents and brother after the accident. She wanted love without any sympathy . Jax too shifted nearby her sister and happen to meet Theresa, and both really got attracted to each other .Due to some dark pasts in Jax’s life he always said that she don’t date girls like Theresa, what he really meant was that Theresa was meant for real love, but Jax had lost complete faith in it due to what happend between his parents in past. Jax tried to maintain distance with Theresa but he wasn’t really. But what happend in the end will definitely make you mesmerized.
It was a easy read since I was able to relate with characters from the past book of the series. I am sure you all would definitely get engrossed till the end since Nikki has made a intriguing plot with very simple writing. A wonderfully and tightly woven plot keeps the romantic candle burning till the end. Really captivating story with so many Raw emotions and love which is really recommended to all the romantic book lovers .

Shadow Road by A. E. Pennymaker is the first book in The Shadow Trilogy. Main character of the story is a twenty five years old woman Bren Warring. According to her, her father has been crazy since the fire destroyed their warehouse, shipyard office, docks, etc. Bren’s father was taking her to the Colonies leaving behind the life they have lived. Her father took her on the Galvania ship and asked her to stay in the cabin in his absence. He used to go somewhere secretly but he never informed Bren about it.

When Bren got suspicious about her father, she searched for his luggage and his satchel bag but only found one binder in a secret compartment of a satchel bag. Later when the ship sank, only few people were rescued. Bren was among them but she couldn’t see her father among the rescued one. She didn’t know whether he is alive or not. She has her father’s satchel bag with secret compartment in it. Bren suspects that someone might want to kill her father. She is left with so many questions in her mind.

Will she able to reach to the depth of the things? Reading this novel was a roller coaster ride for me. Cover photo is amazing. Narration is smooth making it easy for the readers to understand the story. Plot is well built and I enjoyed reading this story. Bren’s adventures is something you couldn’t miss to read about. Looking forward to read the next book in the series.

‘My Daze with the Dark Muse’ is the first book in the Better to Burn Out series by D.M. Needom. This book is written in three parts: Before Rehab, Rehab and The Awakening. This novel is written in the form of a character’s journal and that made me liked it even more. Most of the story is set in year 1997.

Reading about Nigel Hartagan journal is not everyone’s cup of tea. He has done things that one couldn’t even do in their dreams. His life revolved around the three B’s: blow, booze, and blow jobs. From a woman named Cami, he learnt how to fuck and how to make love. His first wife Sil got pregnant so Nigel took the responsibility and got married. But Nigel couldn’t be stable in life and things change in the blink of an eye. Nigel’s second wife is Ava. She raised Renee, his daughter. Renee loved her so much.

Nigel’s character is very different from one’s expectations. I loved Ava’s character a lot. This book is a story with strong plot. Cover photo is nice with a suitable title. I am looking forward to read the sequel of this book. If you are interested in reading dark tales then go ahead with this one. Please be advised that the book contains strong language and is suitable for adult readers.
