New Beginnings penned by the author Victoria Day-Joel is an intriguing collection of poems and verses based on the new relationships, love, etc. These poems are written in few lines but they convey very deep feelings.

Thirteen days blown away,
With a bond so strong
In this world we don’t belong,
Because we are the universe.

Through above lines, author is trying to say how with someone we develop an instant connection and we feel comfortable with them even though we have just met them for the first time. Poems and verses are kept short and written in simple language. Author has not dragged her feelings too much. Just in few words, she has smoothly expressed herself. I appreciate verses at the end of each poem as that helped me to connect more with the poems.

If you are in love or a romantic person then you will fall in love with Victoria’s writing. I was so captivated by these poems that I couldn’t keep the book aside until I finished it. I am really craving to read more of Victoria’s work. Strongly recommended for poetry lovers.

“Driving in the Rain” is a memoir written by the author Nadia Bruce-Rawlings. Nadia has shared about her life in this book. She is a daughter of an oil executive who used to abuse her mother after consuming alcohol. Her mother protected her kids and given them love, joy but was also suffering from her depression at the same time. Nadia has lived the life of leisure and luxury. Money wasn’t an issue for her because her dad was just a call away.

In the 80’s after moving to LA, she got involved in cocaine and champagne. In Aug, 1994 her mother died in a cancer
clinic in Playas de Tijuana, Mexico. For years after, the death of her mother shook her to the core and she found it difficult to sleep. She has shared about how she was cheated by Howard while buying house.

Language used in the book is simple. Readers will be easily able to understand the story and the writing is amazing. I could feel connected to Nadia’s story and the feelings she has expressed in her story. Cover photo of the book is nice with a lovely title. Nadia’s story is worth reading. It will inspire other addicts to walk on the path of recovery. So, don’t miss to read this book at all.

Scars written by the author Nadia Bruce-Rawlings is a collection of prose and poetry and author has shared her story in this book. Stories revolves around the molestation by her father when she was just a child. When Nadia was five years old, she was sitting on her father’s lap not knowing that there is something wrong. When her mother saw that, she tried to keep her away from her father so she can protect her. But one morning, her mother didn’t wake up. She was a cancer patient and lost her life. In this book, Nadia has discussed about physical scars on her body. Although she has recovered but the scars will always remain a part of the survivor.

This book is to instill hope in those who are still a victim of suffering or abuse. It was an emotional read with heavy emotions at times. This book is an inspiration to lead a better life. While reading this, I got inspired to help someone who is suffering. I really appreciate author’s guts to share her story with everyone. This is a must read book. Readers will definitely take away something from this book. Title of the book couldn’t have been better than this. It’s a worth reading story.

This put their planet at the risk. An alien spaceship landed on their planet. They offered them technology and resources to grow their settlement. In return, planet inhabitants have to mine the cliffs for Allorans. When Evan Baker lost his life while mining, Captain Sterling wanted to renegotiate the contract terms. But is it too late? What Clo will do to save her own people?

This is an amazing sci-fi story that I like to recommend to teenagers or adults. World building is interesting and involve different planets. Cover photo of the book is nice. Storyline is so intriguing that I couldn’t put this book down once I started reading it. It’s surely a riveting tale that sci-fi lovers couldn’t afford to miss to read.

I am not sure if zombie apocalypse will happen or not but this book was a fun, educational read for me.

If Malcom or anyone will know this, they will kill his mother. Later, he was kidnapped by a Jinx. He was also stalked by her and the Jinx is also aware about Casanova’s mind tricks power. Why Jinx has kidnapped him? What does she want from Casanova? Find out what happens next in the story yourself.

Plot of the story is packed with full actions and kept me on the edge. World building is unique and I appreciate author’s vivid imagination. Language of the book is lucid so I was able to follow the story easily. It’s a dark story. Please be advised that there is mature content in the story so it is recommended only for adult readers. Looking forward to read next book by the author.

The Journey’s End is a Christian thriller written by the author Victoria Olasegha. This is a book that perfectly fits my taste as I love adventures, going on trip and self-discovery. Story features four main characters: Brian, Rachel, Craig and Tess. Brian is a rich kid who wanted to be pilot since he was five. When he grew up, his father gifted him a plane. Brian’s girlfriend Rachel often gets controlled by her mother but Rachel has different expectations for herself from life. Brian and Craig has been friends since they were five. Craig’s recent girlfriend is Tess.

All 4 of them went on a trip to Brazil in Brian’s plane. But on the way, the fuel level reduced and their plane crashed in the middle of forest. What I loved the best about this story is that each character have a different personality and it was amazing to know four different characters. This story really refreshed my mind. It’s an eye opener and inspiring story. The story feels so believable and somewhat it reminded me of the movie Cast Away. Cover photo of the book could have been more creative. Storyline is so intriguing that one couldn’t keep this book aside without finishing it. This book is perfect for weekend binge reading. Go ahead with it.

I first got to know about vampires, werewolves from the movie Twilight and TV show Vampire Diaries.

“The Aria of She” is the debut book of the author L Margetts-Bullock. It is the first installment in the Crecita Chronicles series. Story is set in Nemoda City. Blaise De’Yanira is the main character of the story. Her friends are Peter (werewolf), Brenna (dark haired Amazon), Chrissie (Pixie), Noo, Simon. Blaise works as a hostess at the nightclub Velvet. One day, when she was with her friends at the club, an older guy Nius Holter came at the club. He had been coming to the club every Friday and Saturday for over a month. Blaise got involved with Nius who is a vampire. On returning home late, she told Mana about the strange things happening with her. Things move without she even touches them, so many thoughts are battling in her mind, etc. She told Mana that Peter’s friends Simon thought may be she is a psychic. But Mana wasn’t ready to accept that Blaise could be anything other than Siren. Is Simon correct? Too confused with her Awakening, what gonna happen further with Blaise? Find out yourself by picking a copy of this book.

The story is different. I loved the variety of creatures in the story – elf, pixies, vampires, werewolves, Siren, psychic, etc. This is an interesting story that will keep you on the edge while you read this book. It will make you more and more curious to find out what gonna happen next. World building is amazing and I loved the way story started. It’s a riveting tale that I like to strongly recommend to other readers. Really excited to read next book by the author.
