“Julip Lullabies And Silent Cries” is a fiction written by the author C Victorya Grace. In this book, author has used The Julip Tree as an analogy that represents family.

A little boy Alec live with his parents Kate and Jackson on a farm in Louisiana. One day when Alec was playing with a scoot in the garden, his eyes fell on two little feet of Reemus. Later, he saw Reemus’s parents – Rooje and Arla who were hiding. After listening to Alec’s scream, his mother came out and saw a family of three were scared. She assured them that she is no harm and invited them to her home. Kate and Jackson offered work to Rooje and Arla so they can get on their feet.

When Jackson asked, Rooje started telling him his story that they are from small town in Guatemala, located south of Mexico. Grab a copy of this book to know what will happen further.

This book is penned nicely. Cover of the book is nice with a suitable title. Kindness of Kate and Jackson touched my heart. Author has written characters very well and her writing style is nice. I loved this story and I like to recommend it to my fellow readers.

Glue is the second book penned down by the author DW Plato. However, it’s the first installment in Dacia’s Diary Book series. Main characters of the story are Dacia and Christopher.

Dacia was married to Leonard who was twenty years older than her. He has abused her verbally and Dacia has decided to leave him. When she informed Leonard that she is leaving him, he seems fine with her decision. Dacia got lonely. She doesn’t have a family to which she could go.

So, she moved in to a new home owned by her new landlady Suzy. In her new neighborhood, she met her childhood friend Kristine who works as a cashier. Kristine is into weeds and she even involved Dacia in it. Grab a copy of this book to read about Dacia’s journey involving powder, intercourse, etc.

Since the contents of this book are mature, so it is recommended only for adult readers. Dacia’s character is written in a way that shows the immature decisions she took in life. I loved this story. The scenes described in the book are detailed and author has managed well to write about them.

Through My Eyes is the story of the author herself. Not everyone has the guts to come forward to share their story, so I want to say hats off to Karmin for sharing her story with the readers. This book is an eye opener. In this, one will get to know what could happen in a domestic violence.

This book will motivate the victims to get out of domestic violence, get some help and move on. It inspire us to survive and fight. This book kept me on the edge as I was curious to read more and more. Author’s narration is so strong. It felt like I am listening to her story by standing in front of her.

It’s high time for victims of domestic violence to stop being a victim. If you are comfortable reading about a dark topic then you shouldn’t miss to read this book.

He lives in a two bedroom apartment with his sister Beatria (from another father). Their lives took a sharp turn when Dre Dre found a bag with gun, money and coke in it. Grab a copy of this book and get to know more about Murk’s plan with the money given by Dre Dre.

It’s a story that is rich in characters. Author has given the characters list at the beginning of the book but their little introduction also would have been better. Storyline is interesting and it kept me on the edge whole time as I read it. Cover photo is nice and title is appropriate. It’s an intriguing story that others should add to their TBR right now.

Seraphim written by the author Leslie Swartz is the first book in the Seventh Day series. Story started with Wyatt Sinclair sitting in therapist’s office and telling about his lost job and his wife Annie who has left him. Wyatt has been on pills from a long time but his condition is not improving. He kept on having hallucinations, nightmares, etc.

One day when Wyatt was in therapist’s office, a woman Gabriel interrupted his therapy session. She told Wyatt that she knew everything about the voice in his head and the strange things that happen with him. She told Wyatt to call and visit his dad in New York. Wyatt followed her instructions and visited his dad. Finally he found out what happened to his mom Abigail.

Grab a copy of this book and get to know yourself about Wyatt’s encounter with the angels. Plot of the story is very interesting. Pace of the story is fast and it keep me on the edge of my seat as I read it. It’s a gripping novel and one couldn’t keep it aside while reading. Author’s writing style is nice and I loved the cover of the book. I like to highly recommend this book to my friends.

The best thing about short stories is that they can be read anywhere anytime in just half an hour or an hour.

Recently I got my hands on the short story “The Unusual Bond”. The protagonist of the story is Vaidehi who is a victim of loneliness in Thekkady, Kerala. She find solace by talking to the grave of her school teacher who she once hated. Since this is a short story so I won’t reveal much about it.

Narration is smooth. Plot is unique and intriguing. It kept me on the edge and made me curious to know what gonna happen next. Description is so strong that I felt I am watching Vaidehi in front of me. I crave for more short stories now by the author.

The Sinners’ Club is the debut book of the author D.W. Plato. Main characters of the story are Gaius Stewart and Elizabeth Ord Anderson. Gaius’ mother has planned her own funeral with much details. Gaius is in Memorial Garden and is remembering his mother Sue. Since Gaius was a kid, Sue was not in a good condition. Gaius is a Pagan and he had learnt and adopted many philosophies from his mother.

Sue was a single mother to Gaius. Her entire life, she has presented some made-up stories to him about his father. But on her deathbed, she painted a totally different picture. She told him that she got pregnant by his father out of wedlock in Utah. Due to religious differences his father’s family didn’t accept Sue.

After listening to deathbed confession of his mother, twenty two years old Gaius had lot to process. Read this story to know what will happen after Gaius travel to Pleasant, Utah and there he met a girl Elizabeth with different faith.

Story is very intriguing. Author has built the plot of the novel nicely. It hooked me from the first page. Pace of the story is fine and it didn’t felt slow or rushed. I enjoyed reading this story. If fictional romance stories intetests you, then go ahead with this.
