“The Best Thing About Bennett” penned by the author Irene Wittig is an uplifting story of a middle-aged woman overcoming fear and self-doubts to find adventure, love and family. Bennett Hall was forced into early retirement as her employment with Bancroft, Chandler and Co was terminated. She is happy that she no longer have to care for her Aunt Mary. Aunt Mary’s house was passed to Bennett as part of her will. Bennett sold the house and moved to a smaller and more manageable house.

Earlier in life, once when she saw a handsome man Stephen helping his father at the neighborhood library, she immediately fell in love with him. Later they even had plans to get married, have kids but because of his father’s deteriorating health and wish to be around his sister, Stephen and his father moved to Baltimore

Bennett later met Joe Muir, an attractive widower who along with his wife adopted two Ugandan children. Joe’s wife was killed in Uganda. Grab a copy of this novel and find out yourself how Bennett find a new purpose to fulfill so she could win Joe’s heart.

Language of the book is lucid. Cover photo is eye catchy. Author’s writing style is amazing. The way the story started and is written smoothly, it perfectly fit my reading taste. I loved the way Bennett’s character is written. I am highly impressed with Irene’s writing in this novel and I am curious to read more of her work.

“London Loves His Opposites” is an amazing story penned by the author CC Ward and illustrated by Kaitlyn Finney. Story features a little boy London who was born different. In his world, down is up, in is out, sky is on the ground, etc.

This book introduces little readers to the term neurodivergent – those who communicate differently and experience the world differently.

This is an inspiring story that motivates normal kids to accept those like London. It also inspire kids like London to dream. Cover photo of the book is nice. Story is amazing. It is a short and quick read that kids will enjoy and learn from. Language of the book is simple so kids would be able to understand it easily. It’s a worth reading story.

“Journey of 8: New Beginnings” is an amazing book penned by the author Charlotte Sun. This is an inspiring poetry book that shows how life goes through different seasons of love, pain, broken lies, new beginnings, etc. Poetry is based on these different topics. My favorite among the collection is New Beginnings. Sharing few lines below that are my favorite:

New Beginnings as the twinkle star draws near. Not only to bear witness to those that tried to spell cast bearer of bad news.
They will see the Good News that the Universe shall bring Unity and the Love that wasn’t broken. Just another token God rewards those that have grace and the faith of New Beginnings.

Written in simple language, one would be able to understand these poems even if you are not an avid poetry reader. Cover photo of the book is nice and title is suitable according to the contents of the book. Written in 104 pages, one could read this book in a single sitting. Author’s writing style is appreciated. I love the message that new beginnings arrive.

Stinky Binky is an amazing story book written by three authors Lisa Olmstead, Nicole Diaz and Korey Olmstead. Story features a little girl Scarlett Marie who loves her binky so much. Throughout the day, she held her binky tight. What gonna happen when one day Stinky Binky will disappear?

This is a beautifully illustrated book. Story is interesting and written well. Cover photo of the book looks amazing. The trio authors have done fantastic job in this book. I enjoyed this story book. After reading this book, little ones gonna have their own binky. It’s a short and quick read. Don’t miss to enjoy this amazing story.

“Becoming Olive W.: The Women of Campbell County” penned by the author S Lee Fisher is the first installment in the Family Saga series. Story is set in Pennsylvania in early 1900s. Main character of the story is Olive Westchester, a curly blonde-haired girl. After her mother Polly’s death, Henderson was left alone to raise his seven children some of whom have become parents. Henderson is a farmer without any parenting skills. Olive is the seventh child of her parents. Even though doctor advised her parents not to have their eighth child but Henderson was selfish enough and got his wife pregnant again. As a result, she died in labor.

As the story progresses, Olive’s eyes are set on the College education. But she was disappointed to know that her father Henderson don’t believe in female education. According to her father, his job is to prepare his daughter as an acceptable wife, to find her a respectable husband who can provide for her.

Grab a copy of this book and find out yourself what gonna happen next in the story. Cover photo is amazing. Story shows rural time with gender inequalities. Writing style of author is amazing. Even though this is the debut book in the series, author has done wonderful work and was able to hold my attention throughout the story. Looking forward to read more novels by the author.

“Blood in the Water” penned by the author Rick Outzen is a crime thriller. Walker Holmes is the owner and publisher of the alt-weekly Pensacola Insider. He has a drinking problem. He lives with a seven-year-old chocolate Labrador mix named Big Boy. Big Boy and a building was left by Walker’s friend Roger in his will. Walker expose the corruption around with the help of his newspaper.

Sheriff Ron Frost is the most powerful man in the region. An election is coming up and Alphonse Tyndall is campaigning for sheriff as Frost’s challenger. Will Homes be able to seek justice with the help of a private investigator? Walker’s friend Dave Evans is an interesting character. Infact, there are so many characters in the book to keep track of.

It’s a fast paced story that didn’t bored me at all. Cover photo of the book is nice and title is suitable. Narration is smooth and strong. Although this book is a part of a series but one could also read it as a standalone. Story kept me on the edge whole time as I was curious to know what gonna happen next.

This is a relationship savior book that I like to recommend to all of my fellow readers. Try incorporating these qualities in your life and see the difference. I have also penned down important points from this book in my journal and I am all set to make them my habit.

“CAREFUL WHAT YOU PREY FOR” is the second novel penned by the author Jodaea Minor-White. Story is set in Barrett’s Cove. Vivian Washington is the Barrett County Prosecutor. When the former prosecutor, Lance MacMillan died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack, Vivian immediately got the job and soon she won the heart of everyone.

Another important character Adrian Porter was a new transfer to the BC from the Wake County police department. When Vivian saw him at the gym, he immediately won her heart but Adrian is married and don’t like Vivian approaching her but according to Vivian she isn’t married so she can do whatever she wants. Grab a copy of this novel and find out what happens next in the story.

Story setting is interesting. Plot of the story is gripping. Cover photo is nicely designed and title of the book is appropriate. Language of the novel is lucid so I was easily able to follow the story. Author has well written each and every character and overall I enjoyed reading this book.

at Law in Washington, DC. Xavier is 35 years old but he is not yet married. He lives in a five bedroom lavish house as he is already future ready. He wants his marriage to be a long-lasting one so he is looking for a partner that has the qualities of his mother.

At the office, when Xavier’s eyes fell on Phenice Gordon, he immediately was attracted to her. One day when Xavier went out with his friend Roc, Roc introduced him to his girl Kathi who has brought Miss Gordon with her so she can introduce her to Xavier. But they were surprised to know that they already know each other. Both Phenice and Xavier are attracted to each other but mixing up professional and personal life is not a good idea. Jodaea’s storylines are nicely written and they fits my reading taste totally. Youth of today enjoy reading such stories. Even though Sunday Christians is the debut book of the author but it doesn’t feel so. Jodaea has done great work in this novel. Cover photo of the book looks eye catchy and title is suitable. I really enjoyed this book and I like to recommend it to my fellow readers.

“Redemptive Trauma: Confession of a Defrocked Priest” is a memoir written by the author David Giffen. David was once a defrocked priest. Defrocked means the deprivation of a member of a religious order from the sacred office they hold. In this book, author has talked about ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and the Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with which David was diagnosed in 2018.

David with an overcharged mind and an overactive imagination migrated with his family from Scotland to Canada. His dad was workaholic and alcoholic. His mum once caught him taking cookie and got frustrated. David once spent a night behind bars but he met Jesus there. Author has shared about various events of his life including his final placement as a parish priest.

If you are comfortable reading books that has mature content then go ahead with this book. Author has expressed his viewpoint in this book very openly and that is reflected well in his writing.
