Aspen penned by the author T. K. Lucaith is a romantic love story. Main character of the story is a businessman Marcus Gray. He got attracted to a woman Maria. They started seeing each other after work, soon got married and had a baby boy Ryan. Marc and Maria did well in the business together and started earning well. After twenty years in business Maria died because of cancer. Marc as a result sold the company. He already had a condo in Aspen, Colorado so he moved there. Even after three years of Maria’s death, Marc couldn’t forget her.

Another important character is a woman in her mid-forties Susan Green. To raise her daughter, Susan took a second job i.e. a server position at Prospect Restaurant in the Hotel Jerome. At Prospect, when Marc visited as a customer, Susan found Marc attractive. To Marc also, Susan seems efficient, organized, attractive. They both look like they are models. Marc asked from Susan for a date. Will Marc be able to move on from Maria?

This is an intriguing story. A daydreamer and a romantic person like me cherished this story. Cover photo of the book is nice. Title is relevant to the story. Author’s writing style is amazing. Her writing is so smooth that I enjoyed this story. Pace of the novel is fine. Storyline is gripping. If you love reading romance novels then I like to strongly recommend this to you.

Readers will find rich glossary at the beginning of the book that would help them a lot while reading it. This story set in Egyptian places made this book more intriguing. I appreciate author’s imagination in building the amazing world. It’s a fast paced story and I didn’t feel bored anytime while reading it. I like to strongly recommend this to historical fiction lovers.

The Omicron Six penned by the author Endy Wright is a gripping story that has the power to hook the readers till the last page. Story features Cooper Callister, a bright kid who is non verbal. Another character of importance is Coupe Daschelete. Coupe is a poor kid. He is not special for his teachers and he prefers to stay ignored with B grade. Coupe has faced much abuse early in his life. That’s why he don’t prefer going to home always from school.

At school, Coupe felt that Cooper is looking at him, not with his eyes though. Both Coupe and Cooper have superhuman powers. At school, Coupe was referred to as Single for a reason that you should find yourself while reading this book. Soon, Coupe and Cooper developed a friendship and Cooper can even talk. He just don’t talk at school. Grab a copy of this book and find out more about Coupe and Cooper, their origin, etc.

This is a captivating story. I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Cover photo of the book looks nice. The 2 main characters Coupe and Cooper are interesting. Plot of the story is well written and I enjoyed it a lot. Narration is smooth and strong. Pace of the story is fast and I didn’t feel bored anytime while reading this story. I am excited to read next book by the author.

Brothers in Arms is an intriguing story written by an Indian born author Umesh Moudgil who moved to UK in 1970. Author who has experienced all the changes to our multiracial society has written this book based on his some experiences. Aman wanted to join the British fighting forces as he was inspired by his late grandfather. When Aman informed his family about his decision to join the army, there were arguments in his house. Aman’s grandfather has seen so much violence in the jungles and he returned home as a changed man.

After Limestone training, Aman was sent to Iraq where he served his first tour of duty. Aman’s grandfather didn’t tell him that war is not that pretty after all. Sometimes it tore you from inside. Aman was also offered to apply for the elite commando team, the Special Boat Service (SBS). His life changed on September 11, 2001. He was deeply affected when the territories hit the Twin Towers in New York.

Written in 115 pages, this book could be read in two sittings. Cover of the book looks nice and title is suitable according to the contents of the story. Before reading this book, I wasn’t aware about PTSD from which returning soldiers suffer silently. Language used in the book is easy to understand. Narration is smooth and strong.

This book has sensitive issue discussion like religion, racism so if you are comfortable reading about these topics, then pick this book.

Story revolves around Troy Thomas, a sophomore at Central Ohio University and his best friend Ian Mueller. For an off-campus party Ian wore a costume to look like the Noogman, a character from one of the best shows of eighties Miami Vice.

Even though Ian’s friends thought someone might get offended with Ian’s costume because he was wearing a blackface but Ian didn’t think so. Eventually, a student got offended with Ian’s look and he told administration that he gonna escalate things to local media. Story is different and hooked me till the last page. Cover photo of the book is nice and title couldn’t have been more appropriate. Story is fast paced and I didn’t feel bored anytime while reading it. This is the first book that I have read by Christopher and I enjoyed his writing style. I like to recommend this book to my fellow readers.

Ellis could run on a full stomach and beat most of the guys.

At college, Sarah has a crush on a guy Paul. This year, there is another guy Nigel who is new but quite a competitor for Paul. Sarah and Emily are leading the girl’s team. Paul and Nigel are leading the guys. Last year, the team missed to go to nationals by few points. So, this year, they have to get a spot at nationals.

I enjoyed reading about workout stuffs that author has mentioned within the story. For instance, doing warmup before running, stretching later, etc. Being a fitness enthusiast, I enjoyed every bit of this story and I highly appreciate the valuable knowledge that author has shared as part of this story.

Language of the book is lucid. I enjoyed reading about many situations in Sarah’s life. This book is full of different emotions and I loved Sarah’s character. This book took me down the memory lane to my college days. I like to recommend it to college students, other adults and especially to women as they would find more similarities with Sarah.
