“It Haunts Me” is an interesting book penned by the debut author Zulaikha Jallow.

Language used in the book is simple and I was easily able to follow it. Cover photo is simple. This book kept me on the edge till the last page. It is written in 21 pages so can be finished in an hour.

“Indeed, I did become successful without him, I became better than he ever thought I would be. I became the one who helped him. I bought all luxuries of this world and in greatness I do reside as a woman”.

Above lines are from ‘Just a Woman’ poem. It is my favorite from the collection. These poems are based on simple yet relatable topics like Love, Jealousy, For The Last Time, Forgotten Love, etc. These poems are full of emotions. Author’s writing style is nice. The narration is so strong that I am gonna remember it for a long time. Title of the book couldn’t have been better than this.

I like to recommend this book to all my fellow readers.

Tyranny Reborn is a political spy thriller and the debut book of the author Daniel Greenwell. Story features Max Reed. He works for the British Government: MI5’s Counter-terrorism department. Max was put on an undercover mission to get vials of a virus that has the potential to decimate the entire country. As the story progresses, Max got out with the virus. But unfortunately shootout happened and he was kidnapped. Josh asked Holly to activate Max’s GPS in his mobile and track him.

Joshua Price is the Counter-terrorism Director who is working with his team to uncover the secrets of terrorists. Will they be able to get their hands on the deadly virus? The story hooked me totally. Author has constructed a very intelligent plot and I am highly impressed with it.

It is a riveting tale that is full of action all the time. Writing style of author is nice. Story is intriguing and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Pace of the novel is fast so you won’t feel bored anytime while reading it. If you love reading political spy thrillers then you couldn’t afford to miss to get your hands on this.

Mark has shared 12 laws in this book. Some of them are: The Law of Vibration, The Law of Attraction, The Law of Transmutation, etc. In The Law of Vibration, Mark has explained how with the proper knowledge of the law of vibration, we can persuade a buyer. Our tone of voice plays an important role in this. In the Law of Attraction, we learnt that “Focusing on lack will bring lack while focusing on abundance will bring more abundance”. I totally agree with this statement as I have experienced it myself. Grab a copy of this book and master these laws to take your sales career to a new height.

Language used in the book is lucid and the cover photo is nice. This book is written in 142 pages and can be read in a single sitting. It’s insightful and thought provoking read. This is a must read book by sales professionals as they will get the information which will help them to reach new heights in their career. It’s totally worth reading. I am glad to get my hands on it.

Crimson Moon written by the author M. A. Kastle is the first book in the Crimson series. After reading Kastle’s Bone Chimes and Dark Awakening, I am really glad to get my hands on her Crimson Moon book. Dr Clio Hyde is employed at Celestial Medical Center, a non-human hospital specifically for the magic-born. Detective Watt needs to be taken to a trauma centre soon. Rutger Kanin placed Watt in the meds van. Dr Hyde was able to stabilize him but he was still unresponsive.

Once Watt was taken to the trauma centre, they themselves needed to rush to Butte Springs. Rutger Kanin’s mate Jordyn who left Trinity three years ago to live in Butterfly Valley has been kidnapped by witches. Captain of Enforcers, Ansel Wolt along with Rutger Kanin and others are searching for Miss Langston when Dr Rutz was called to help with her tranquilizers ready. Grab a copy of this story and get to know more about Ansel and Dr Rutz’s chemistry.

Story is full of paranormal, romance, mystery, etc. I enjoyed every bit of this story. Length of the novel is so long that one could binge read it on weekends. Language used in the book is easy to understand. I appreciate the author’s use of good words that will help readers in building their vocabulary too. Storyline is interesting and I strongly recommend this book to my fellow readers.

But Nick and Alistair made one more deal. If Nick allows Alistair to name his daughter, she could live with eighteen years of good luck. Nick agreed to this and his newborn child was named Clover. Clover was handed to her paternal grandmother when she was just three months old. She was raised by old Momma Ruth. With her luck, Clover brought great money to Momma Ruth. But her eighteenth birthday is around the corner. Will she lose her luck?

This is a captivating story. Plotline is unique and I enjoyed every bit of it. Author has done fantastic job in this book. Clover’s journey involves love, adventure, luck, travel, etc. Language used in the book is simple and I was easily able to follow the story. However, author has used good vocabulary in the story. So, I learnt many new words while reading it. Hats off to Nicole. I am definitely interested to read more of her work.

2020: Injection written by the author Ashley McCoury is a Science fiction novel that is set in the future. Story features a seventeen years old girl Alexandra. She will either be chosen to be a carrier of new life or she will be given the injection. Alexandra is not in favor of either of these choices.

Alexandra didn’t want to be a carrier as in that female would be artificially inseminated, partnered with a male she had never met, and bear a child which both had to raise until the age of five. Alexandra’s appointment was set since her birth and today she has went for the examination where she was chosen for the injection and was asked to return on the first day of her next menstrual cycle. Grab a copy of this book to know what happens when she met a strange man that took her outside of the Establishment.

Story is quite intriguing and I appreciate author’s imagination in creating this story. Plot is superb. Language used in the book is simple and I was easily able to follow the story. Ashley’s writing style is something I enjoyed. Cover photo of the book is appropriate according to the story content. I like to strongly recommend this book to my fellow readers.

Toxic Relief penned by the author Baheya Zeitoun is a New Adult fiction. Main character of the story is Sarah Mourad-Siskos. At the age of twenty-three, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Even though she was under treatment but her cancer metastasized hitting her vital internal organ i.e. her liver. Her hometown is Cairo but she is currently living in Paris with her roommate/friend Jana.

Her room smells more of the cigarettes. But her friend Jana is caring and she made the room better. Sarah has cleaned her head hair and now has a wig. Dr Duval is treating her and told her that her progress will be monitored for next couple of weeks. However, she can go home. Cancer has broken Sarah more. She even took off from work for uncertain time but she is strong spirited to manage herself on her own and even refused help from her mother. Sarah had learnt about art from her grandmother who was an art collector. Grab a copy of this book and get to know more about Sarah’s journey.

Language used in the book is simple so I was easily able to follow the entire story. Cover photo of the book could have been more creative. Story is full of different emotions and I even felt sad at times while reading about Sarah’s condition. This book is also an eye opener and made me realize that we should enjoy life to the fullest when we are good health wise.

“No Damn Excuse: The Survival of a Celebrity Assistant” written by the author Darius Bradley is a must read book. This book gives the sneak peek to the readers into the private world of the celebrity assistant.

All his life till high school, Daruis had spent most of his time with his family or cousins. But attending a community college gave him an opportunity to shine. When Darius was 6 years old, he lost his relationship with his dad. But Daruis’ dad accompanied him on the first day of college Ivy Tech, Indiana. At college, for the first time in life Darius got a roommate who doesn’t share his last name. After sometime Darius left Indiana and Indiana Tech. Darius’s reason to move out of Indiana is to experience diversity and New Jersey Institute of Technology gave him the chance to make new friends from various countries, nationalities, etc.

The only thing I wanted to be better in this book is the text size. It is too small and requires effort in reading by zooming it. Apart from that, I enjoyed reading Darius’ story. Cover photo is nice and title is suitable. Written in approx 100 pages one could read this book in a single sitting.

“Nothing to Get Nostalgic About” written by the author Eddie Brophy is a horror fiction. Story is set in Maine. Main character of the story is Charlie Harris who is haunted by his own childhood. Charlie thinks that we cannot outgrow our fears. As a child, he couldn’t conquer his fear of the dark. Charlie is a father of a blue eyed baby boy Dylan. His wife Lorraine thinks that he is drunk even though he is sober. This is because of Charlie’s strange behavior and Lorraine often stays mad at him.

Charlie was once a struggling student but he managed to graduate and is now a published author. Jimbo (once a professor at Southern Maine University) advised Charlie that he need to learn how to battle his demons. Rain wanted to have another baby but Charlie is afraid that he may pass the curse to the kid. Charlie is suffering from depression too but he is not taking his prescribed meds properly. He is an award winning author and even addressed the audience at QnA event. But when the life of his only son is in danger, what Charlie will do?

Language used in the book is simple and I really appreciate author’s choice of title for this book. The story needs to be read with more concentration as it is full of different actions. Eddie’s writing is professional and I loved the plot.

This is a dark horror and disturbing tale that will keep you on the edge as you read the story. If you are a fan of dark horror then grab this book. It’s worth reading. It would be amazing to see this story as a movie.

The Blighted Road is the 17th Century tale of Plague and Witch Hunts written by the debut author Anna McCormac. Story features two female characters: Orla from 1650 and Abigail from 1666 London. Abigail Midwinter resides in London in a family of 5. Soon plague affected all of her family members and Abigail became the last living daughter. Before dying, Abigail’s mother asked her to make her way to Wilton where Goody’s sister Bess lives. After losing all her family members, Abigail escaped her house and the locked gates of London.

On the other hand, Orla is a trusted healer in her village. She is a midwife helping village women in their delivery. Already due to Puritan ideals, there is a shortage of midwives. The winter is a cold and deadly season and many had just frozen to death while sleeping.

This is an intriguing story that kept me on the edge of my seat. During this time of pandemic, I was able to relate few things from the story to our current situation. Author has used good vocabulary in the story and I often had to refer dictionary. This story helped me to build my vocabulary more. Cover photo is nice and title is suitable. I enjoyed every bit of this story and like to recommend it strongly to my friends.
