Him & I written by the author Alyssa Milani is a romance drama written in three parts. Main character of the story is Lyla. Lyla and Kyle Stanford have been friends since their mothers were pregnant with them. Lyla lost both of her parents at the age of eight. Kyle’s parents took care of her for some time until her aunt and uncle came to the city. Lyla and Kyle had experienced many of their first together, either it be kiss, making out, etc. When they turned eighteen, Kyle had a crush on Nancy and Lyla had a crush on Declan O’Connell. But Lyla and Kyle have feelings for each other too.

One day, Kyle asked Lyla for her virginity to which Lyla said yes. For three months, they went on like that, and became friends with benefits. But they are still not a couple. Does Kyle love Lyla? Will Lyla choose Kyle or Declan?

Read this intriguing story. You won’t feel like putting this aside while reading. Story is gripping. High school or college students will enjoy it more as they could relate well to it. I loved reading about Kyle and Lyla’s sleepovers. Writing style of the author is professional. She creates an interesting world in the story which makes the readers forget the real world for some time. Story involves adult content too, so I like to recommend it to adult readers only.

Story is set in the fictional world of Kammbia just like the Diondray’s Chronicles written by Marion. Main characters of the story are professional dancers Ciscoe and Latisha Maldonado. They have been married for 16 years.

Mango Nightclub is one of the largest in Roxie and Penelope District. Ciscoe’s father, when alive, felt that the people of the city started losing the connection to the history of Guanamamma music and dancing. So, Ciscoe made a promise to his father in his last days to keep the connection to Guanamamma music alive for everyone. At the club, patrons didn’t seem very cheerful after watching Ciscoe’s and Latisha’s performance. They enjoyed Piccanta dancing more. As a result, Ciscoe and Latisha lost their job at the Mango. Now they are excited to perform at the Festival of Josette. Will they be able to perform? Will Guanamamma music lose its touch among the people?

Read this story yourself to unveil what’s gonna happen next. I enjoyed every bit of this story. Author has written a very intriguing plot. Cover photo of the book fits perfectly to the story. Marion’s writing style is professional. He creates an intense world in his stories. Written in approx 150 pages, this novel is something that I like to recommend strongly to my fellow readers.

Canvas penned by the author Kathy Weyer is the second installment in the Heritage Art Park book series. Main character of the story is Renee Murphy. Her term as Mayor of San Diego ended soon. Her mentor Iris Anderson is now no more. Renee thought that once her term was over, she will run for senate and will open an art store at Heritage Art Park.

As the story progresses, Renee’s term as Mayor is over and Ron is the new Mayor. Renee’s best friend is Jen Conrad. Jen’s niece Tricia got married to Adam Pechek a few months ago. Adam is an artist who presented an offer in front of Renee. Renee hasn’t thought that by opening an art store, she has to bid goodbye to her Retirement fund. Since she couldn’t step back from the commitment she gave, she told Adam to go ahead.

Read this interesting story and find out for yourself what happens next. Cover photo of the book is nice. The title of the story is suitable. You will get to know while reading the story what is the significance of the title in the story. Author’s description is smooth and I enjoyed this story entirely. I like to recommend this to my fellow readers.

This is the story of a seven years old girl Courtney who moved to the submarine Submagine with her parents. Soon after moving, Courtney became friends with a vegetarian shark, Jaws and a Crab. Together they went to open a treasure chest. When Courtney opens it, Bass pops out of the treasure chest. Courtney was granted a wish to have long, flowing and thick hair.

As the story progresses, Courtney made new friends and joined a band with them. They named their band Watergems. Read this story to know how Courtney ended up on Cay’s Tonight Show.

This is an amazing story. Plot of the story is unique and I loved every bit of this story. This is available in Screenplay as the author is a Screenplay artist. Story is well written. One thing that I wished could have been there is the list of cast of characters. I have to flip back pages to remember the different characters. Illustrations are mind blowing. Language used in the book is lucid. It’s a story worth reading.

The Shaytan Bride written by the author Sumaiya Matin is a Bangladeshi Canadian Memoir of Desire and Faith. It is the true coming-of-age story of a girl navigating desire and faith. Story is about the Bangladeshi Muslim woman who at the age of six moved to Canada with her family. In Canada, people at many places wanted Muslims to leave the country so Sumaiya’s Abbu kept a close eye on her.

He moved to Canada because Sumaiya’s Ammu wanted to go there. The idea was planted in her head by Sumaiya’s Boro Mama. In Canada, Sumaiya felt in love with a non-Muslim man named Bhav. He loved her dearly and wanted to overcome any obstacles to make her his wife. At the same time, Sumaiya heard from her Ammu that they are going to Dhaka for a vacation. What’s gonna happen there? Read this story to unveil yourself.

Story is intriguing. It was interesting to read about Sumaiya’s life from childhood to adult years. The plot of the story is nice. Cover photo is eye-catching and the title is suitable. Pace of the story is fast. I didn’t feel bored anytime while reading this book. Language used in the book is simple and I was easily able to follow the story. Go ahead with this book without thinking twice.

Dare to Live is a book that I guess I needed to read so much. As I started reading this book, I couldn’t control my laughter. The way Atharv has described his new control freak manager is amazing to read about. I once had a manager like Mandira and I could very well understand how Atharv feels working under her. A manager should only be concerned about work and not about employees login and logout timings.

Managers like Mandira who do micro management take away employee’s peace leaving them frustrated. Atharv, who deserves a good time with his wife, was sucked into work by his boss Mandira. Mandira even makes notes on employees timings. She doesn’t like her reportees taking tea breaks. She is not at all understanding. This made Atharv to miss his old manager Varun who didn’t mind even if he reaches office late sometimes. There was a time when Atharv used to listen to her manager out of respect but once he realized that his manager didn’t deserve his respect, he started giving her back.

This book is written in a lucid language. Cover photo shows how employees are the slaves of bosses. Narration is smooth, hilarious, and strong. Atharv’s character is my favourite. I am glad that I got hands on this amazing book. Looking forward to reading more books by Himanshu on such relatable topics. A great story to read.

When Lucy was in a fight with other Madigans in Boston, a Dagger of Consciousness was taken away from her and it was hidden in Seamus’ Magical Tarot Deck.

The battle between Lucy and Tara started when Lucy learnt that Tara would become the guardian of the Wand of Wisdom. When someone draws a card from the Deck, the person painted on the card disappears from real life till they fulfill the question of the querent. Lucy went to the Fairy thinking that Tara might have hidden the dagger there. In Utah, Cal, Lucy’s grandson is worried about the whereabouts of his grandma. Lucy is with Ceri at the Fairy and she tells her about the stories from the past. What is gonna happen when Emily loses the Magical Tarot Deck?

This story is intriguing and can be read as a standalone. However, if you read it as part of the series, you will enjoy it more. Cover photo of the book is nice and the plot is written well. I am impressed with the author’s writing style. Pace of the story is fast and I didn’t feel bored anytime while reading this story. Fans of fantasy stories couldn’t miss to grab this book.

Recently, I read the book SPLITTING UP without falling to pieces penned by the author Jan Kaa Kristensen who is also the former leader of the divorce division of the Center for Family Development. All marriages don’t last forever. Approximately, half of the couples get divorced and sometimes the divorce ends in conflict or major conflict.

The fictional stories written in this book are inspired from the real ones and they made this book more interesting to read. The author has given various tips in this book like taking care of yourself, taking support and help from your network, creating new relationships, giving emotional support to children, etc. These tips will make taking care of children after divorce easier.

This book is for divorced parents who are struggling to create a working relationship for the benefit of their children. The main message that this book wants to give to the divorced parents is to take care of themselves so they can be a good parent to their children and also get along well with their co-parent. It’s a great book that guides parents who are splitting up to go through divorce well without falling apart.

There are thought provoking questions at the end of each chapter. It is an engaging read. Writing style of the author is amazing. Cover photo is nice. Go ahead with this book without thinking twice.

“On the Trail of the Wind’s Tears” penned by the author Lynne Armstrong Jones is a sequel to “On the Trail of the Ruthless Warlock”. Joul and Nico fought the enemies at the kingdom’s border. Joul returned to Espri but Nico was injured. Later while traveling with other injured warriors, they stopped in the town of Edgewood for some drinks.

Nico had too many drinks and when he woke up, he realized he was in some female’s room. In Espri, Nico’s wife Veras received a note saying that her husband has been with a serving woman for several days. Veras was concerned about her husband. Also, she wanted to tell him about her pregnancy. But as soon as Nico returned to Espri, Veras felt the tears in the wind. They were of a dying witch who is sending a message for help to protect the Great EastWood and nearby areas.

Cover photo of the book looks nice. The title is suitable. Even though this is a part of the series, one could enjoy it as a standalone also. I appreciate the way Lynne has focused on several topics in this story, especially the relationship between a husband and wife. All the characters are nicely written. This is a gripping story and I enjoyed every bit of it. Don’t miss to get your hands on this amazing book.

I love reading romance novels. Recently I got my hands on Soul Elements: The Fiery Lake penned by the author Lisa McNeil. Main characters of the story are Aiden and Ebony.

Ebony is independent. She studies part time and also works at the bookstore so she could pay her bills without taking any help from her parents. On the other hand, Aiden lost his parents at the age of three. He was placed into the foster system and was adopted by irresponsible parents. As he finished school, he moved out of that house. He started his small business and with hard work, his business reached greater heights. Before meeting Ebony, an aqua blue-eyed girl came to his dreams many times. When Aiden and Ebony met, they felt an electric spark. Both fell for each other. Soon, they met again and fixed a dinner date. How close will they get?

Read this story and I am sure you will crave for such a spark with someone in your life. Being a person who loves books, I loved the bookstore part of the story also. The author has done a great job in writing the characters. Narration is smooth and the plot is gripping. Once you start reading this book, you can’t put it aside. Readers who love romance novels should go ahead with this without thinking twice.
