“480 Codorus Street: Surviving Unpredictability” is a wonderful autobiography of the author Sandra Lee Kearse-Stockton. Sandra was born in York, Pennsylvania. Her parents Mae and William lived in a beautiful home at 480 Codorus Street at that time. William was rarely at home and Sandra’s mother Dot took care of her children and household work. Taking care of so many children wasn’t easy but Dot always make the house pretty. William’s mood was very unpredictable and he used to come home very less. When Sandra was nine years old, William abused Dot badly. Dot got bruises on her body because of being kicked by William. William was made to leave the house but soon he returned home and then hit Mary and Sandra which further gave Sandra the confirmation for her strained relationship with William.

This book gave me the opportunity to have a sneak peek into Sandra’s life and learn from it. Read this story to know will Sandra ever want William to be her father again? This story is nicely written by the author. I appreciate the courage of Sandra to share her story with everyone. Title of the book couldn’t have been better than this. Since the story involves abuse, it is recommended for readers who are comfortable with reading such content.

Story features Noor Beyrouti who had graduated with a BSc in Nutrition and Food Technology. Noor was looking for a job. She came to know that DanielCo requires a sales rep for food ingredients in the chemical division. Noor got the interview call and her second round of interview was with Mr Daniel himself. Fortunately Noor made it to her dream job. She took help from colleagues to get the hang of her job. It was amazing to read the descriptions of Noor’s hardships at a new job and how her colleagues guided with various tips.

This book introduces Lebanese culture to the readers. It’s amazing to see how Noor balances her family, career, relationships, etc. Read the story for yourself to know will Noor find love in her life or not?

This book will take you on a ride full of rollercoaster adventures. I enjoyed every bit of it. Writing style of the author is nice. Readers who enjoy reading stories involving someone’s day to day personal experiences would enjoy this book for sure. If you are looking for a light reading for the weekend, this book would be the perfect pick.

Because of the Great Pandemic and self-generated climate crisis, social divisions were created. The group started calling themselves the Union. The Union was similar to the old United Nations organization. Some of the participating countries of the Union are more open to science and liberalism than others.

Colonel Stark is leading the Olympus evacuation operation. Olympus is managed by UCF but based on recently signed Human Accords, its complete control would be transferred to the Union. Dr Stan-Lee was asked to be eyes and ears on the moon making real contact and first-hand observations. Dr Stan Lee preferred to be called Elle. She was welcomed at the Olympus & was assigned an assistant Zayan. Read this story to know what challenges lie ahead in this journey.

Sci-fi fans should get their hands on this book. Cover photo is well designed. Plot of the story is fast and I enjoyed reading it. Readers who are from science background would enjoy this story more. World building is nice and I really appreciate the author’s imagination in this novel. Author has written the characters well. Those who enjoy science fiction should add this to their tbr.

Upon their meeting, Rögenvaldur told Svain about the tale of Rögenvaldur the Terrible: Dragon of the North”.

Rögenvaldur was once the slayer of the innocent and destroyer of all beautiful things. He told Svain how raidings aren’t just an act of glory and praise but also about murder and grief. Read this story to know about how Svain’s father gave him the responsibility to train a weakling from Irland. What challenges lie ahead in Svain’s journey?

Storyline is beautiful and it made me realize the importance of karma. The characters felt real and I was able to relate to them. This story kept me on the edge and made me forget the real world around me for a while.

Author has done great work in this debut novel. I enjoyed every bit of this story. Looking forward to reading the next book by the author in the future.

That’s why he kept on requesting Cory and Jennifer to move to LA.

Once, when Eddie was on his way to Dallas so he could convince Cory and take him to LA, he met with an accident and lost his life. After Eddie’s death, Cory wanted to make Suicide King successful. After being cheated on by Jennifer, Cory took the transfer to LA. He wanted to keep his job secure while he tried himself at the band. When he met music legend Alexandra Blake, he became obsessed with her. Read this story to know what will happen next.

This book is totally according to my reading taste. I enjoyed every bit of it. Cover photo of the book is well designed and the title couldn’t have been better than this. This book tempted me to visit LA. Language used in the book is lucid and I was able to follow the story easily. This book is good for weekend binge reading. I am sure you would enjoy it.

Death has mentioned about few humans who are constant and appear day after day at his counter to pick up their daily dose of life essence. Death is omnipresent. This helps him to manage the never ending line at the Pharmacy. To balance all life, human count needs to be reduced. Doctor suggested Death to kill a tenth of humanity in a handful of days. It’s Death’s job to kill.

One day, Death met a human Robinette. He became powerless and was not in his domain. She took him to places that made Death feel different. Death could leave his obligations behind at a place like this. Death is a character that is written well.

Cover photo of the book is suitable. Pace of the story is fast and I wasn’t bored anytime while reading it. The way death is described as a living character and his way of communicating with himself is interesting. This is an engaging read. Storyline is unique. I like to strongly recommend this book to others. It would be worth your time.

I got my hands on this book when I was suffering emotionally. This book guides us how we can work with our body intelligence to heal deep-rooted physical, emotional and spiritual suffering. Quotes by famous personalities in the book uplifted me. Signs of spiritual transformation mentioned at the end of the book is something I really appreciate. If you are ready to take the journey of healing or spiritual transformation, go ahead with this book.

So, the kids took revenge by murdering their parents. Ty and Ni are getting trained to become assassins. A man named Lucius is a trained assassin and he is the mentor of Ty and Ni now.

Plot of the story is interesting. It hooked me to the story and kept me on the edge of my seat. Story is captivating and one wouldn’t feel like putting it down without finishing it. This book is full of action and thriller lovers would enjoy reading it. Language used in the book is lucid and I enjoyed every bit of this story. Go ahead with this book.

“What I Really Want Is… But I’m Just Too Full Of…” penned by the author Seth Lusk is the book that suits my reading taste.

In this book, Seth has shared about many experiences from his life. As a life coach, he provides support and guidance to others. The author has mentioned that we come into this world without a ‘how to’ manual. People around us who guide us also don’t have any such manual. They are also figuring it out. Sometimes, we start following others in life without even questioning why we are doing it. Many times we want beautiful things in life but we full ourselves with the temporary fixes. The result of this is that we still starve for the thing we really want.

Instead of looking for validation and acceptance from other people, we should detox ourselves so we could move towards internal acceptance that is more rewarding. Seth has very well explained how joy is not in the ‘happily ever after end goal’ but rather is in the obstacles, fears we face. Joy is in the choices we make to get what we truly want in life.

As a debut author, Seth has done amazing work in this book. I am impressed by the knowledge/experiences that he has shared in this book. Cover photo of the book is nice. I was able to relate with some of Seth’s experiences. I loved the buffet line example. This book has really inspired me to take steps towards a life of fulfillment instead of being happy with the temporary fixes. Language used in the book is easy to understand. I like to recommend this book to every other reader.
