Stories Of Us by Bobby Sachdeva is a collection of 41 short stories. These stories are based on the common man and therefore we can totally relate to them. I really loved the story based on Notebandi, Ummidein – A Life Of Desires and The Third Gender especially.

One should definitely read these short stories. In this book, in the voice of a common man, the author questions our everyday practices in an unorthodox manner. These stories collection has inspired me to rethink the values that has been long etched in our belief system. This is an interesting read. You will find many relatable incidents. These stories are really thought provoking. I finished reading all the 41 stories in 3 sittings. I recommend this book to all those who loves to read stories on a common man.

Book Review:

“Freedom: Human Trafficking and Encounter with Soul” is a book that has two stories: “Human Trafficking” and “Encounter with Soul”. The first story “Human Trafficking” has the main character Honey. She was working with the most famous and intelligent detective in her city. She started investigating a case of human trafficking. As she interacts with the victims, it gave me a thrill while reading. As she investigated the case, she got to know more about the inhumane nature of the powerful people. Read the story to know whether she get successful in solving this case of human trafficking.

The second story is “Encounter with Soul”. It has Rasbeen as the main character. She is intelligent, smart and an ambitious girl. She wanted to focus on her career but her father imposed negative pressure on her. She eventually had an encounter with her soul one day. Read the story to know whether she will become a confident girl and will follow her dreams?

I really loved the book. The story was intriguing. I was too much involved in reading that I couldn’t stop myself to know the end of the story. Read this book. I am sure that you will like it.

Yours Legally is a collection of many short stories. The main character of the book is a young girl named Sia. She completed her graduation in Law against the wishes of her parents. These short stories are inspired by some true events. This book has many court room dramas that I loved a lot. These court room dramas affected Sia’s life deeply. This is a debut book and it talks about the law with a dash of satire.

This book is a must read for everyone. Those who have some knowledge about legal profession will found this book interesting and can relate to the events described in the book. On the other hand, those who doesn’t have any knowledge of law will get to know about it. I really enjoyed reading about the life journey of a young lawyer. I completed this book in two sittings as I was so curious to read it more and more.
