I first got to know about vampires, werewolves from the movie Twilight and TV show Vampire Diaries.
“The Aria of She” is the debut book of the author L Margetts-Bullock. It is the first installment in the Crecita Chronicles series. Story is set in Nemoda City. Blaise De’Yanira is the main character of the story. Her friends are Peter (werewolf), Brenna (dark haired Amazon), Chrissie (Pixie), Noo, Simon. Blaise works as a hostess at the nightclub Velvet. One day, when she was with her friends at the club, an older guy Nius Holter came at the club. He had been coming to the club every Friday and Saturday for over a month. Blaise got involved with Nius who is a vampire. On returning home late, she told Mana about the strange things happening with her. Things move without she even touches them, so many thoughts are battling in her mind, etc. She told Mana that Peter’s friends Simon thought may be she is a psychic. But Mana wasn’t ready to accept that Blaise could be anything other than Siren. Is Simon correct? Too confused with her Awakening, what gonna happen further with Blaise? The story is different. I loved the variety of creatures in the story – elf, pixies, vampires, werewolves, Siren, psychic, etc. This is an interesting story that will keep you on the edge while you read this book. It will make you more and more curious to find out what gonna happen next. World building is amazing and I loved the way story started. It’s a riveting tale that I like to strongly recommend to other readers. Really excited to read next book by the author.
Q1) Please introduce yourself so that the readers will get to know you better.
Normally when a person is asked to introduce themselves so that people get to know them better we always start off with our name, where we were born, how many children we have, if we’re married or not and so on. With that being said I want to do something that is not as traditional. Q2) What is your inspiration behind your book “Who’s the oldest: A Twin Question?”
The inspiration behind the freshman book from the Mac and Roni Read brand was to introduce the characters and put focus on a basic common argument that is known among twins; who is the oldest. This question and argument can be googled and researched and there is a plethora of information. I also chose this topic because it connects to one of the main focuses of Mac and Roni Read to learn. One of the focuses of this book is biology. Mac and Roni research and they read and learn biological information about the fraternal Twins. As an early educator for 25 plus years I have always taken literature and connected it to a topic to engage the student in an age appropriate way. Basically I intentionally wrote the freshman book based on years of early education work inspiration.
Q3) You have read so many Children’s Books over years. Which is your favorite Children’s Book?
Hamm….I don’t have a favorite. LOL (emoji smile). However I will say that I like the classics such as Dr. Seuss cat in the hat and Dick and Jane. I believe many of us have forgotten about the Dick and Jane books.
Q4) Are you planning to write your next book soon?
I’m so glad that you asked this question . I had Mac and Roni Read as well as the character likeness trade marked for the sole purpose of the brand being a continued series of books. The sophomore book of Mac & Roni Read is due to release May 24 2021.
Q5) For which age group your book “Who’s the oldest: A Twin Question?” is suitable?
Mac and Roni Read books are suitable for ages (Pre-K) 4-8 3rd grade.
Q6) What is your favorite Quote?
Honestly, I don’t have a favorite quote. I gave up on having a favorite quote LOL (emoji smile) Every time I think I have a favorite quote I read another one and that becomes my favorite quote. So what I notice is I have favorite quotes based on circumstances- situations. As a master social worker ( MSW) and an early educator I’m always empowering people so I work with quotes very often.
Q7) Mac and Roni, the two characters of your book are fraternal twins. What does Fraternal Twins means?
Wow I feel like macaroni did when their mother told him too research and find out what fraternal Twins mean LOL (emoji smile). What I like to emphasize too students in the early ages is to remember Identical Twins share ALL their genes and are always the same sex. Unlike fraternal Twins they share HALF genes and they can be either combination of two boys and two girls or a boy and a girl.
Q8) What suggestion you want to give to parents of little readers regarding a reading habit?
one suggestion I want to give the pairs of little leaders regarding habits is as follows: Make reading a habit!
Q9) What does literary success look like to you?
I’m glad you asked this question. when the book was about to be released and even when it was first released, I had some people ask me to autograph their book. now these were people such as close friends and family. I told them that developing these characters and writing the books is really an extension of my work in early education. I’m just coming from one side of the book which is reading it to the other side of the book which is writing it. With that being said literary success for me it’s not about what the normal person thinks that it is as far as signing autographs. literary success to me is leaving a mark on beginning readers across the globe. Of course, if the work is affecting the learner than the brand will be able to take care of itself
Q10) Lastly, who is your inspiration in life and why?
My inspiration in life is the high-power God. As far as a human being is concerned I would have to save my grandparents that raised me. I think back on how I watched them work 30 years and 25 years respectively and retire, house paid for and they lived a drama free life. Now that is what I call inspiration!

Service Dogs are like normal dogs but they have special jobs. They help humans in living a safer lives. Book starts with two service dogs Polar Bear and Teddy Bear and then we get to meet their so many friends that help humans in different ways.
Before reading this book, I wasn’t aware about the great things that service dogs could do. I always used to think all service dogs have same kind of job. This is an amazing book that will help little readers to understand the special services that service dogs provide to humans. Illustrations are mind blowing. I love the real service dogs pictures that are included in this book. Great work by author in this book to spread the awareness about service dogs among readers.
Dust of Lies written by the debut author G K Davenport is the first book in Dust Chronicles. Main character of the story is Kay. She moved to Barber, Arkansas a few years ago with her husband Darrell so he could take care of his mother Viva. Kay is the only reporter for the Barber Gazette so it was her responsibility to cover the story of demolition of abandoned county jail. After covering the story when Kay was about to leave, she saw a poem written on a block of plaster. This made her curious to know who was Ora Price and who wrote this poem? On visiting Viva, when Kay enquired about that poem, she found few leads.
Now Kay is excited to solve this puzzle for her mother-in-law and for herself. Ezra Hacker was nineteen years old when he committed suicide in the jail. But was it really a suicide? Who is Cowboy aka Jesse Cole James? Grab a copy of this intriguing story and find it yourself. Characters are nicely penned by the author. Story is so amazing that I got totally lost in the fictional world while reading it. The twists and turns in the story kept making it more and more interesting. I appreciate author’s choice of title for the book. Looking forward to read next book by the author.
“A Grim Awakening” is the third book that I have read written by the author Ashley Tomlinson. In the earlier installment of this series, Piper died in a plane crash and she is now the soul collector. Piper is in relationship with Zeke. Both Zeke and Piper are living together in a condo. They have to read a lot about Grim’s history as it will help them when they will become Grim Reapers.
Piper’s friend Liv is children’s soul collector. She recently broke up with her boyfriend James. Even though Liv was feeling low but she has to do her soul collection work. Zeke and Piper are in relationship from one year. One day, they got the message from Grim not to do anymore research and just continue collecting souls. What Grim is up to? Where he has gone?
Story is intriguing with an interesting plot. Ashley’s writing skills are amazing. Language is lucid so I was able to follow the story easily. Cover photo of the book is eye catchy and I loved it. Length of this book is just 93 pages so one could finish it in a single sitting. World building is amazing and I like to strongly recommend this book to others.
“Mommy Didn’t Say That” is an interesting book written by the authors Allison McGill and Charla Everhart. Since humans are used to using adult words sometimes, what happens if you say them in front of children?
This book is a great guide for parents. By reading this book, they will learn how they can divert their children’s attention towards more innocent words. Beautiful Illustrations by John Paul Snead has made this book more interesting. Parents gonna laugh while reading this book. They will surely be thankful to authors as this book could be a life saviour in front of their kids.
Title of the book is well suitable according to the contents of the book and cover photo is well designed. I enjoyed reading this book and now I could also apply the same trick in front of kids that I have learnt from this book.

“School Feels DIFFERENT” is a children’s book written by the author Mandeesh Gill and illustrated by Noor Alshalabi. Story features Rohan who feels nervous on his first day back to school after lockdown life. On reaching school, Rohan noticed that the playground looks different. It made him nervous.
Read the story to know what are the new rules and changes in school after lockdown to avoid any covid trouble and how will Rohan deal with it?
The best thing that I loved about this book is the message given in this book. Children will realize that even though school life has changed due to pandemic but still they can have fun. If you want to make your child learn about calmness techniques then “CATTY THE CAT when I am frustrated” written by Irsa Jawed and illustrated by Spectacokids will be of great help.
It’s a short story of Catty the Cat, who feels frustrated when someone yells or says “No” to her but instead of yelling on others at the time of frustation she uses some calmness techniques. Sometimes she take deep breaths to relax her body and mind and sometimes she go for a walk to get some fresh air. Read this story to know about more calmness techniques used by Catty at the time of frustation.
Pretty illustrations made the book more lively. This book could be read by toddlers, parents and teachers. Parents will get the idea how to calm their child when they are feeling frustrated. Definitely recommend this book to little readers.
