Q1. Could you please introduce yourself to the readers?
Hi, my name is Ethan Arabov, I am a singer/songwriter/author based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I’ve been writing for a couple of years now but my first book ‘Truthful Tammy’ happened by accident. Trying to get the ‘creative juices’ flowing for a song I was trying to write; I had just started typing away. When it was done, I had sent it to my sister who suggested I make it rhyme, so I did.
Q2. Could you please tell readers about your latest book?
My Latest book is called ‘Siara and the Seashell’. It is a story about a fish who would hide in its shell afraid of being judged or how the (sea) world would treat it. Thinking it was not good enough to be seen but little did it know how beautiful it was once it came out of its shell.
Q3. How many books have you written so far?
I have written quite a few that are still being worked on but I have three that are currently published on amazon.
Q4. What inspires your book cover design for your latest book “Siara and the seashell”?
I wanted to show that Siara was surrounded by her friends knowing she is being supported through her journey.
Q5. Are there characters in your books that have similarities with you or people you know?
I can definitely relate to Siara as well as the friends. It has taken me some time to break out of my own shell and have been there for friends going through the same.
Q6. What helps you relax while writing?
I love having some inspiring instrumental music, a cozy corner helps as well!
Q7. What would you tell an author that wants to publish his first book?
Go for it! I have had a few people ask me to help them out and I have pointed them in the right direction in terms of where to start. If someone has a motivational story to share that can change a person’s life then do it!
Q8. Who are you when you’re not writing?
That’s a good question! I like to say I wear many hats. I sing, write, own a bit of real estate, I have my own jewelry line as well. A dog dad to two white huskies and enjoying the beauty that life has to offer.

“What I Really Want Is… But I’m Just Too Full Of…” penned by the author Seth Lusk is the book that suits my reading taste.
In this book, Seth has shared about many experiences from his life. As a life coach, he provides support and guidance to others. The author has mentioned that we come into this world without a ‘how to’ manual. People around us who guide us also don’t have any such manual. They are also figuring it out. Sometimes, we start following others in life without even questioning why we are doing it. Many times we want beautiful things in life but we full ourselves with the temporary fixes. The result of this is that we still starve for the thing we really want.
Instead of looking for validation and acceptance from other people, we should detox ourselves so we could move towards internal acceptance that is more rewarding. Seth has very well explained how joy is not in the ‘happily ever after end goal’ but rather is in the obstacles, fears we face. Joy is in the choices we make to get what we truly want in life.
As a debut author, Seth has done amazing work in this book. I am impressed by the knowledge/experiences that he has shared in this book. Cover photo of the book is nice. I was able to relate with some of Seth’s experiences. I loved the buffet line example. This book has really inspired me to take steps towards a life of fulfillment instead of being happy with the temporary fixes. Language used in the book is easy to understand. I like to recommend this book to every other reader.
“Socks and Elephant Shoes” penned by the author E.A. Crawford is a collection of poems. It takes the readers on a journey of loss, love and depression.
Losing a loved one is depressing. These poems are about a girl who went into depression after the death of her father. Read this anthology to know if she will come out of darkness.
Some of my favourite poems from the collection are: Breaking Point, Belief, Dancing With You, Princess etc.
Language used in the book is simple and even non-poetry readers would be able to understand the meaning behind these poems. This book would take readers on a rollercoaster ride full of emotions.
Enjoy this anthology with a cup of tea while sitting on your front porch. Length of the book is 63 pages so one could finish it in a single sitting. I am glad to read this poetry book. Like to recommend it to my fellow readers.

Some of my favourite poems from the collection are: Start Over Again, Dreamy Girl, Lucky I Found You, etc. These poems inspire us to overcome challenges in life. It pushes us towards our goals.
My friend, life may not always be clear skies and sunshine. It may throw surprises at you when you feel all is going fine. These challenges, you must dodge if forward you want to move. Your grit and strength, all tested if yourself as a champion you want to prove. Don’t you falter, don’t you bend. Look to God and in Him, you’ll find a friend.
Read this book with a cup of tea while sitting on your front porch in the evening. Since, I also get random midnight thoughts, I enjoyed reading this poetry collection. Language used in the book is simple and even non-poetry readers would be able to understand the meaning behind these poems. Some poems had a deep impact on me. This book inspires the readers to go after their goals and also be a guiding light to others.

Story features a kid who feels loved because of what his parents do for him. The kid is happy when the parents read him a book or sing to him as he takes a nap. One day, his parents decided to separate. Will the boy get lonely with just one parent? Read this book to know about the emotions of a little boy.
This is an amazing book to help children cope up with parental separation. This book should be read aloud in a classroom. Writing style of the author is nice. Cover photo of the book is lovely and the title couldn’t have been better than this.

This book teaches important moral values of being honest to the kids. Parents should definitely add this book to their kids’ bookshelf. Such books help kids to learn important values early in life. I wish I would have gotten my hands on a book like this as a kid.
Ethan Arabov’s “Siara & The Seashell” is a Children’s Book for kids of ages 5-11 years. Story features Siara who has lived in her shell till now. She is fearful to step out of it. She thinks that people will make fun of her and she may not be as beautiful as she seems in her dreams.
Kids should pick a copy of this book to know will sea creatures be able to convince Siara to see the outer world? It is a story about friendship, helping others, etc. Pretty illustrations would catch kids’ attention on the first look.

Q2. What were the key challenges you faced while writing ‘Rise’ book?
Some of the key challenges I faced when writing Rise was the time management of it all. I was in school while writing it as well as working a full-time job. So, finding time to write this and getting my creativity to flow was challenging.
Q3. What books or authors have most influenced your own writing?
I’m a big manga reader so authors like Eiichiro Oda really influenced my writing style.
Q4. What’s your favorite spot to visit in your own country? And what makes it so special to you?
If I had to pick, I would say Sunny Isles Beach in Aventura, Fl. I wasn’t a big beach goer when I was younger but when I got older and left my hometown. I grew fonder of what I left behind.
Q5. Is there lots to do before you drive in and start writing a book?
Yes, there is. Organizing an idea, researching that idea, putting together an outline, securing your copyright. All are important in writing a story, keeping it fluid, and keeping it yours.
Q6. How long did it take you to write ‘Rise’ book?
It took almost 3 years to finish and, in some ways, it’s still not at its finished product.

Q8. Tell us about the process of coming up with the book cover and the title ‘Rise’?
I actually commissioned an artist Reese Royce to do my cover based on who the characters were in the book. The title Rise just came from the characters prevailing from hardship RISE out of the ashes of their former life.
Q9. When writing a book how do you keep things fresh, for both your readers and also yourself?
I try and bounce my ideas off my brother to keep it interesting for myself because he’ll bounce ideas right back to me. It gives me another perspective
Q10. Are there any secrets from the book (that aren’t in the blurb), you can share with your readers?
Certain details from the last chapters of the book set up the sequel, however the ending will not.
