I See You is the debut novel of the author Pamela Roland. The story revolves around a seventeen years old teenager Francesca. Her parents Marianna and Edward had seven other daughters too to take care of. Francesca was deeply in love with her boyfriend Philip. Her relationship with Philip ended when he informed her that he have to move back to his hometown in France to marry his second cousin.

Her teacher Mr Vetone was kind and caring and he was aware of whatever has happened with Francesca but he turned out to be an evil creature. Francesca is a vampire in the present day. She is a doctor at Atlanta Southern Hospital. Dr Francesca Philips is a confident doctor and in control. Bruce is the attacker of her patient Rose and Francesca kept an eye on him and attacked him. Read the story to know what all is there in store for the readers.

Language of the book is easy and comfortable. Narration style of the author is remarkable and seems mature. Plot is intriguing. Characterization was stunning throughout the book. Pace of the story was fine.

I like to recommend it to my fellow readers who love to read vampire stories.

Fire and Ivy by Todd W. Hiller features the main character Amanda Killingly. Amanda is twenty years old and is in relationship with Brian Whiting. They live on the outskirts of the city of Claiborne. When Amanda turned twenty one, she took a job as a bartender at the local pub. One night as she walked out of bar at 2 am, she was kidnapped, handcuffed and blindfolded. She was taken to the room in one modern house and was raped.

When she woke up, she managed to get out from the house where she was raped. After reaching her home Amanda slept. When she woke up, she heard her father banging the door. Amanda informed everything to her father and she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Her treatment went on for few months and the detectives are also investigating the case. Grab a copy of this book and read the story yourself to know what happened further.

The storyline is intense with a fast pace. Since the book contains sensitive content like rape; readers who are comfortable to read about it should only pick this book. Language of the book is easy to understand. Cover page of the book looks very nice and title is also apt. Author has done amazing job overall in this book. The Judge Senser is a paranormal short story written by the author Soleah Kenna Sadge. It is the first book in “The Sensers Secret Society” Series. The story is set in Radnor, PA, USA. The story starts with Judge Xavi having a bad Monday morning as Lily didn’t show up at the cafe to buy her coffee.

Xavi always wakes up earlier than expected on weekdays to catch a glimpse of her while she orders her coffee. Lily is accused of robbery and killing someone but judge Xavi thought that it must be some understanding and she should be innocent. Since Xavi couldn’t wait for the police to bring the evidences, he himself went at the crime scene to do the investigation.

I am looking forward to read the next story “The Executioner” from the author.

Hi there. I’m Romona. I’m the author of a new cross-genre series that includes suspense, dark romance, and horror, starting Her Eyes Underwater.

Q2. What were the key challenges you faced while writing ‘Her Eyes Underwater’ book?

Finding time to write was a challenge. I am often busy with my other job and had to write on the side.

Q3. What books or authors have most influenced your own writing?

I didn’t really think about other authors when I wrote the book. I was just doing my own thing.

Q4. What’s your favourite spot to visit in your own country? And what makes it so special to you?

Any place close to a lake is very peaceful for me.

Q5. Is there lots to do before you drive in and start writing a book?

If I can find the time and stop myself from procrastinating, there is not much else keeping me from writing.

Q6. How long did it take you to write ‘Her Eyes Underwater’ book?

About 3 months.

It is available on Amazon in two formats right now (ebook and paperback) and on Barnes and Noble in two formats (paperback and hardcover). At the end of September, it will also be available as an audiobook at any retailer that sells audiobooks.

Q8. Tell us about the process of coming up with the book cover and the title ‘Her Eyes Underwater’?

The title is a reference to a phrase used in my favorite chapter of the book. The cover was designed by an artist after I told her a little bit about the book.

Q9. When writing a book how do you keep things fresh, for both your readers and also yourself?

Since I planned to write a series, I simply planned things out in my mind so that I would have enough material for a series.

Q10. Are there any secrets from the book (that aren’t in the blurb), you can share with your readers?

This isn’t really a secret, but people should think of each book sort of like an episode. Each book will build on the one before it until the whole story is told. Everything people want answers to will be explored eventaully.

Hinterland is the first book that I have read written by the author L. M. Brown. The protagonist of the story is Nicholas Giovanni. He is a taxi driver and a husband of Kathleen. Nicholas’s wife Kathleen was not well and Nicholas do all the work like making breakfast for his daughter Kate, getting her ready for school, etc. His wife Kathleen keep on missing her appointments with the doctor. Ina is Nicholas’s neighbor and they were childhood friend. Nicholas last met Ina at his mother’s funeral six years ago. Ina is now Nicholas’s sister-in-law.

Years back, Nicholas saw her with Stefano and she moved across country with him. After his mother’s death, Nicholas moved back and started driving taxi just like his father. Ina told him about ending her twelve years of marriage and getting a divorce. When Kathleen got to know that Ina is getting divorce, it was a shock for her. She started considering what is the story about Nicholas and Ina. Kathleen even asked Nicholas not to go to Ina’s house ever. Read the further story to know what will happen ultimately.

The storyline is interesting. Language of the book is easy to understand. Cover page of the book could have been more creative. Nicholas love for his daughter is something sweet. The pace of the book is slow. It is an emotional drama story. If you love reading such stories then go ahead with this book.

When Gbaelay got to know that Ms Rain will be teaching second grade this year, a tear rolled down her cheek. According to senior students, Ms Rain is a mean teacher who can make a kid cry just from her look. Will Gbaelay be able to survive in the class of Ms Rain or will she never go back to this school where Ms Rain is her teacher? Read the story to find out yourself.

The story is written very well. Cover page of the book is nice. It is an interesting story that will attract kid’s attention totally when they start reading it. Title of the book is apt and narration is smooth. It is a nice book for kids that revolves around school life.

Nova is the first novel that I have read written by the author Amber Williamson. The story is set in a small town of Rosewood. It’s a town that has only one road in and out of this town so you can imagine how small it is. The protagonist of the story are Nova Winters and Jake Tyler. They grew up together as childhood sweethearts. Everything was alright between the two before freshman year.

But since the freshman year, Nova started to ignore Jake and he didn’t know why. Jake tried many times to talk to Nova but she didn’t open up. One day, she bid goodbye to Jake and went away. Later, Jake found the first notecard that seems to be from Nova. Why Nova has left and where? What does she mean by “help me and this town”? Read this intriguing story to get answers to all your questions.

This is an interesting story that will grip your attention. The plot of the book is constructed very well. Characters are also well developed and introduced. Cover page of the book is simple and title is short and sweet. This is the kind of book that you can read in two sittings. Amazing story that made my day.

“Seems Like Smooth Sailing” by the author Sam Catling is a comedy memoir about the ups and downs of working on-board a cruise ship as an entertainer. The introduction itself caught my attention. There was a point in my life when I felt that I am achieving nothing by working so hard. So, I felt relatable and got much interested to read the book further. Sam was diagnosed multiple times with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

In 2006, when her nan returned from a trip, she told Sam to try for the job of cruise ship entertainment host. Sam took her suggestion and he got the job as well. During his training he learnt different things like crowd control management, types of fire and way to extinguish them, survival techniques at sea, etc. There were so many challenges and learning experience that came to Sam’s way during his job.

The book is written in a first person. Reading this book was an amazing experience and it made me laugh at some incidents. Language of the book is simple and easy to understand. I really appreciate storytelling skills of Sam.
This book took me down the memory lane and reminded me of my trip when I went on a cruise once. It was a short and smooth read and I enjoyed reading this book. I definitely recommend it to my fellow readers especially to those who love reading memoirs.

Q1. Hello Ma’am, can you please introduce yourself? Readers would love to know more about you.

Hi there! My name is Rene’ Schultz from NH USA! I’m so grateful to live in a beautiful state w so much nature all around. I live here w my husband of 25 years and my two adult daughters. I suffered w childhood sexual and physical abuse but always tried my best with what I knew, volunteering and working w elder care and special needs. I’ve made it through a life of struggles with CPTSD and now want to teach kids before the going gets really tough

Q2. What were the key challenges you faced while writing ‘A Million More Kisses’ book?

Key challenges, we’ll first of all I’m an accidental writer. I haven’t taken classes and had to be taught as I went, about how to set up paragraphs etc. them the tech stuff, I am $10k into this book as I had to hire and beg everyone I could find for the answers to everything. I don’t learn very well so this project has been arduous for me and the many people I bugged incessantly. I am so, so grateful for so many people along my journey

Q3. What books or authors have most influenced your own writing?

Honestly, I haven’t read children’s books in 20 years. I have tried on my journey to not read any kids books, afraid I would get someone else’s idea in my head and be frozen. I’m not super creative so I’ve been super sensitive to not letting others influence any ideas I may come up with

Q4. What’s your favourite spot to visit in your own country? And what makes it so special to you?

I honestly have not been far. I would have to say again, I’m so grateful to be in NH, I have mountains, cities and beaches all within an hour of me.

Q5. Is there lots to do before you drive in and start writing a book?

Is there a lot to do before diving into books? Well I have 2 series coming, both based on my life experiences so I had to live almost 50 years of trauma lol One is on my chihuahua, pretty basic and I know him well. The other series is set in the woods w animals so reading up in nests, dens, animals and what they eat is a lot of fun

Q6. How long did it take you to write ‘A Million More Kisses’ book?

It took almost 3 years from beginning to end. I went through a few publishers who scammed me, an illustrator and several editors. I finally got a great team around me and have been able to put out a spectacular product.

Q8. Tell us about the process of coming up with the book cover and the title ‘A Million More Kisses’?

Around 2017 I took a photo of my chihuahua standing at the top of my mother in laws outdoor stairs looking down. It looked like he was saying goodbye for the last time and I got the idea to write about it. The cover, I initially just wanted an outline of a lady’s face so the book would be relatable to more kids. My illustrator ended up doing this and I went with it. I trusted her skill and the process of what the book would become

Q9. Are there any secrets from the book (that aren’t in the blurb), you can share with your readers?

My book has so many secrets! 1. I had a very difficult relationship w my in-laws esp my mother in law. She is on the cover and I wrote a gorgeous story around her. Around the woman she was to others. Her cruelty for 30 y literally drove me to suicide. The passion for my book came from loss of self, grieving what will never be, keeping faith, hope and boundaries in order to find freedom in forgiveness. The black and red checker jacket hanging in the nurse scene is a shout out to my father in law whom I did hospice for. Kelley library is our real library where Nonnie, my mother in law always went, and her niece Audrey who really worked there! In one of the scenes there is a sign way out in the yard, in real life it says “Schultz conservation land”. When Nonnie died in July, 2019, the little sign outside the library had one of her quotes on it “the best thing about books, no commercials”. The nurses are my daughters. Emmy is Emily and Ellie is Rachel Elizabeth. Yes, I had so much fun writing this for everyone. The story you’ll hold in your hands is for the kids, my story of overcoming is to hold in your heart.
