The story revolves around Gertrude, a devoted dog groomer who is growing older. Though her eyesight is weakening, no one adores her more than the dogs she cares for.

One busy morning, Gertrude had a packed schedule with numerous pet owners bringing in their dogs for grooming. She decided to bathe all the dogs together, but afterward, she struggled to tell them apart due to her poor vision. As a result, she ended up providing different grooming services than what the owners had requested. Will the pet owners be upset when they see their newly styled dogs?

This book is wonderfully written, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The cover is striking and well-designed, capturing attention instantly. The author has used excellent vocabulary, making the story engaging and enjoyable.

Victoria has done a fantastic job with this book, and I’m eager to explore more of her work.

The illustrations are pretty and would catch kids’ attention. The writing style of the author is nice and the cover photo is eye-catching. Through this book, kids would learn about the different cat breeds.

This book is suitable for kids of the age group 3-10 years. I strongly recommend it for little ones. They would have a great time following the escapades of Mayday.
