The Shadow Within written by the author M.Z. Szklanny is the first installment in A King’s Wrath book series. The main characters of the story are the Oleander brothers – Oliver and Artur who are fighting for their birthright i.e. Hallgeard’s throne. The Oleander brothers are determined to restore the honor and glory of their once-proud lineage.

Otis feels the weight of his father’s expectations on him. The amulet around his neck helped him by illuminating the darkness that surrounded him. His father’s manipulation pulls him back into the darkness. As Otis embarks on a self-discovery journey, he even becomes a mentor to the Oleander brothers.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the character of Oliver. Being an elder brother, he is more courageous. The world building is done well by the author. The writing style of the author is nice and easy to follow. The characters are well written by the author.

Those who are fans of reading fantasy stories should definitely get their hands on this book. Looking forward to reading more books by the author in this book series.

The Historic Mission written by the author Raymond F. Klein is the first installment in “The Interstellar Police Force” book series. Two IPF Agents are humanoid in appearance and from the planet Ashlar. They were assigned the mission to enter planet Earth, find and apprehend the prisoners.

There was an incident and eight prisoners escaped from Interstellar Police Prison Transfer vehicle 964. These two IPF Agents need to enter the earth undetected, complete the mission and come out. They transformed into humans but one agent transformed into a human canine because of the computer glitch. One of the inmates, Prodor Moffit, was a convicted serial killer. He is too dangerous. Will the two IPF agents be successful in their mission of re-capturing the prisoners?

Those who are fans of science-fiction-action-comedy should definitely get their hands on this book. I appreciate the author’s vivid imagination in world building. The cover photo of the book is nice and the title is suitable. The language used in the book is lucid and easy to follow. I enjoyed every bit of this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat.

“Kites Are Flying High While I’m Barely Staying Afloat” written by the author Caleb Thornton is a poetry book. These poems are based on love feelings for the partner, being manipulated, heart broken, etc.

my stomach is tied in knots
thinking about what i should do
should i spend my nights in hell
thinking about why i didn’t mean enough to you?
i’m having withdrawals
and sometimes i wish i did stay
like those other boys that lay up under you

The above lines from the poem tells us how much the narrator is missing the guy he loves. He is stuck in Apr 5, 2020 when he played pretend for the first time with him. I myself have gone through a heartbreak recently and my mind is stuck on that guy.

These poems are relatable. One could feel a great connection between the author’s experiences and their own. The poems are easy to follow and heart touching as well.

“Divine Karma: The Journey of Self Discovery” written by the author David Ramirez is a life changing read. In this book, the author has explained how we are the creator of our own reality. The author has mentioned how the below proverb is true:

“What we sow in others, we reap in ourselves”

I have myself experienced the truth of this proverb. This book makes us aware about the karmic debt and the accumulation of this debt ensures recurring experiences until the debt is settled. “Power of Creation: Light and Darkness” is one of my favorite parts from the book. I am glad to be aware about the blockages and imbalances that get created in the body’s energy system. Addressing these imbalances requires more than treating the physical symptoms.

This book would inspire readers to reflect on their own lives and the consequences of their actions. A karma believer like me found this book insightful. By reading this book, readers would realize how knowing themselves is the beginning of all wisdom. Self-awareness is very important for changing your life. This book is a great eye opener with wonderful insights for life. I am going to apply the learnings from this book in my life. Great work done by David in this one. Looking forward to reading more books by him in the future.

“Artistic Freedom: Brielle & Rand” written by the author Gracie C. McKeever is the first book in the Muses Trilogy. The main characters of the story are Brielle Rice and Rand Cabot. Brielle is a divorcee and an artist model. Rand is a college student and a painter.

When his eyes fell on Brielle, a nude model, he felt there was something more to her. She was told by Rand that he wanted to hire her for a private session. Brielle sees Rand as a kid but Rand tells her to let him decide for himself. In their private session, Rand was surprised by the dominance Brielle was showing him in the bedroom. Even though he had his share of women in his life, he hasn’t met someone like Brielle. Read this story to find out if Rand would be able to submit to a woman.

If you are comfortable reading erotic BDSM romance then get your hands on this book. The writing style of the author is nice. The cover photo is well designed. It is a short read that I finished reading in one sitting. Both the characters are written well by the author. I enjoyed reading this book. Looking forward to reading more books by the author in this trilogy.

“Invisible Racism” written by the author GG Nicole Washington is an interesting read. The author who is an experienced African American teacher has years of experience teaching in different schools filled with poor black children. Through this book, the author is opening the eyes of other people towards the bullying white kids face in all black children’s schools.

Teachers are the number one factor that produces bullying. Because of the ineffective teachers, children become victims of bullying. Before reading this book, I wasn’t even aware of white kids being bullied in all black schools. These kids are the invisible victims of invisible racism.

I highly appreciate the author for writing this book. It’s important to keep all kids safe. Selecting the best school is an important decision that parents take for their kids. This is a must read book. By reading this book, parents would be able to make better decisions for their kids. Also, this book is an eye opener for others too. The writing style of the author is nice. I am glad to get my hands on this book. Looking forward to reading more books by the author.

Wellsville written by the author L.C. Scott is a Young Adult Sci-fi. Priya, Mia, Colby and Liam are four unlikely friends who came together to find out why the entire town has fallen into a coma. Colby moved to Wellsville six months ago. He was expelled from his last school for setting a toilet block on fire. He was then sent to Wellsville to live with his grandma.

The friends wondered how the incident had managed to take out everyone at once. Colby and Liam were protected by the flowers while Priya had been napping at the time. They need to check the whole town to find other conscious members. Will they find the answers they are looking for? Will they discover what’s going on in Wellsville?

I loved the way the characters worked as a team. The author has done great work in this debut novel. The cover photo of the book is nice with a suitable title. The plot of the story is intriguing. I enjoyed every bit of this book. The world building is impressive and I appreciate the vivid imagination of the author. Go ahead with this book without any second thoughts.

This is the story of Deni Adelabu who faced many challenges in his life yet he focused on his career, growth and goals. Deni’s journey from Nigeria to the United States wasn’t easy.

As a financial support, he received only first year’s tuition and board fees from his father. Deni’s relationship with his father was strained. In his graduation speech, he was excited to see the emotions on his father’s face as Deni has worked hard all his life and has waited for this day.

This story tells us no matter how bleak life seems, it never gets too dark to prevent dawn from coming. The transformative journey of Deni has touched my heart. This book has inspired me to work on my transformation no matter how many challenges life throws at you.

Those who are having a difficult time in their life will get hope by reading this book. It tells the readers about the power of focus and determination towards our future. The writing style of the author is nice. I am glad to get my hands on this book.

A guy named Bret had been keeping his eyes on Candice for some time. He took her to his home and tied her on the bed with tape on her mouth. When Candice woke up, Bret told her that he doesn’t have any intention to harm her. He is attracted to her and even Candice finds herself attracted to him. She wanted to escape from the place where Bret kept her but she also doesn’t want to give up on the way she felt with Bret.

This is an amazing story that kept me on the edge of my seat. The writing style of the author is amazing. The narration is smooth. The characters of Candice and Bret are well written. The title of the book is suitable. Those who love reading short erotic tales should get their hands on this book. I had a great time reading this book.

The author has mentioned various approaches in this book through which we can nurture and care for our mind.

Use of positive self-talk, engaging in positive affirmations, practicing breathing exercises, making time for yourself, etc are some of the approaches that we can use to nurture our mind. Surrounding yourself with other positive people is a trick that really works.

The author has included various case studies in this book. Reading those case studies has really helped me. The author has given great guidelines. By intentionally focusing on our mind, body and soul, we can evolve into the person we are created to become.

Those who want to become a better version of themselves should definitely get their hands on this book. I loved every bit of this book. It’s a book worth reading.
