SHOOG ll is the latest book by the author Jo that I have read. This book would take us down the memory lane to the days of the Covid-19 epidemic. Hugh and Holly decided not to get married until after she finished her BA degree.

When Covid-19 was declared a pandemic, Hugh was needed on the front lines as he managed several locations. Hugh’s first assignment was at a bakery and he learned a lot about sausage, cheese, etc.

Zach is dead but he is still around. Soon, his father may join him in spirits. His sister Olivia is learning about the business so she can handle it. Zach sees himself as an unfortunate soul lost between this life and the next. Zach is a great character with an amazing sense of humor.

The writing style of the author in this book is raw. I enjoyed the funny side of the story. The glossary of characters mentioned at the beginning of the book is really helpful. The storyline is unique and made the book worth reading.
