After managing to enter Jack’s apartment—thanks to the help of Werner Vogel, a skilled locksmith—Boggs carefully sketches the interior, perhaps as part of a larger plan or investigation.

Jack’s journey is anything but conventional. The weight of his past lives and the burden of serving the Absolute shape his every move. The novel unfolds at a compelling pace, with a fluid narrative that keeps readers engaged from beginning to end. The cover art is striking and effectively captures the tone of the story. With a broad and diverse cast of characters, the book offers rich dynamics and interactions that will especially appeal to.

The Wizard of Starz by Peter Pappas is an engaging fantasy novel that evokes the charm and magic of the Harry Potter series. The story follows Theo Indigo, a young boy who was told his parents had disappeared and was left to live with his aunt Desi.

Desi and her husband, Jack Scary, are wealthy but unkind. Along with their children, Jackie and Tommi, they treat Theo poorly and deny him the freedom he longs for. Desi resents Theo for his unique gift—the ability to Shine as the Shiners do. As he approaches his 20th birthday, Theo begins counting down the 365 days until he can finally break free from their custody.

Everything changes when Theo is offered a mysterious, otherworldly chance—an escape to the world that isn’t ruled by the Scarys. Will he finally find the freedom he deserves? You’ll have to read the book to find out. Theo’s journey strongly reminded me of Harry Potter’s.

Packed with action, magic, and intrigue, this book kept me captivated from start to finish. Peter Pappas has done a brilliant job—his writing is clear, imaginative, and easy to follow, making this an enjoyable read throughout.

‘A Stone’s Throw’ written by the author Wayne Edwards is an intriguing read. The main character of the story is a twelve-year-old Maggie Stone. She lived with her mother Lillian Stone in San Francisco. When her mother was in a trance-blackout and was at hospital, Maggie was sent to an orphanage to live there. After spending one month at an orphanage, she was taken in by her grandfather. Maggie’s grandfather Ira Stone took her to Montana on his ranch.

In the past twelve years of her life, Maggie had never seen her grandfather. She was told by her mother that her father wasn’t a good man and it’s better for Maggie to not know about him. Maggie’s mother got pregnant with her when she was in high school. This made her grandfather angry and her mother left her home. Will Maggie believe Ira now?

This is a gripping story that kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed every bit of the story plot. The writing style of the author is nice and the language used in the book is lucid. This book is for Young Adult readers. They would be delighted to read this book. Great work done by Wayne in this book.

The story follows Lucas Harrell, an investigator with the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division, who shares a close friendship with Sasha Davies, the vibrant hostess of Sasha’s Realm—a platform for alternative news covering topics like UFOs, political conspiracies, and the supernatural. The two first met during their college days, Lucas at The Citadel and Sasha at the College of Charleston. Since then, Lucas has supplied Sasha with exclusive insights that fuel her database of unconventional stories.

Lately, the peaceful town of Santee, South Carolina has been plunged into fear as a mysterious predator begins targeting fishermen along the banks of Lake Marion. Lucas encounters a terrifying creature resembling Bullhead, sparking concerns that more of its kind might be lurking in the shadows.

The story also revisits a disturbing case from 1989 involving graveyard vandalism—including the exhumation of eight graves. A man named Porter, notorious among local law enforcement, becomes a person of interest, prompting a chilling inquiry: was he responsible for the desecrations?

This book is a thrilling ride into the unknown. Atkinson’s engaging writing kept me hooked from beginning to end. He crafts an intriguing world filled with suspense and eerie wonder. Sasha’s Realm was especially captivating—it offered a refreshing escape from everyday life. Lucas, with his depth and complexity, quickly became my favorite character.

If you enjoy stories that blend mystery with the paranormal, don’t miss this one. It’s a truly compelling read.

Only a few books have the ability to hook readers from the very first page, and Two Times Dead by Clifton Nixon is definitely one of them. The story centers around Quinton Laurence LeBaugh, better known as Quint. As a teenager, Quint met Whitney, a key figure who introduced him and his friend Stan to a series of questionable activities in pursuit of easy money. Whitney took it upon himself to “train” the boys, often disappearing for brief periods and returning with new money-making schemes.

From selling MJ to being involved in boat theft and other illicit ventures, Quint and Stan followed Whitney’s lead. Amidst all this, Quint had fleeting relationships with a few girls—until he met Sherrie. With her, everything felt different, almost magical. But can Quint earn the trust of Sherrie’s father? And what will happen when the shadows of his past come knocking again?

This story is truly gripping with no dull moments throughout. The language is clear and easy to follow, and the narration flows effortlessly. Quint is a compelling character whose journey keeps you invested. If you’re looking for a thrilling, fast-paced read, pick this one up without hesitation.

The story kicks off when Ricky Talon, host of the Talon Tonight show, releases a controversial list naming the “The Ten Worst People in New York.” The individuals featured on this list are not only humiliated but also deeply unsettled.

Among them is businessman Luca Benedetti, who ends up kidnapped. Luca had a troubled history with his tenant, Emily Garner. When she refused to move out of his apartment, he released cockroaches into the unit, forcing her to leave. He also harassed nine-year-old Danny Araya, a child suffering from polio. After Luca was found dead with an apparent suicide note, detectives begin to question whether his death is mere coincidence or a direct consequence of Talon’s infamous list.

Another person on the list, Councilor Tyrell Dixon, is later found dead as well. FBI Special Agent Alex Bedford is shaken by the discovery. Partnered with Agent Pat Coombs, the two launch a full-scale investigation. They interrogate Ricky Talon, trying to uncover whether there’s a deeper connection between the victims and the names he exposed.

Suspicion intensifies with the arrival of British filmmaker Jacob Felle, who quickly becomes a prime suspect. As the body count rises, one question remains: who will be the next target—and why?

This is a refreshingly unique thriller. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot, which moves at a brisk pace with no dull moments. The author has done a brilliant job crafting a tense, suspenseful narrative. I couldn’t put it down.
